gas station auto assign

Thanks FF, your careful analysis of the new program with Sassie is helpful and much appreciated.

I've done my 1st shops today and here is what I have learned. When checking the lubes take a photo if not compliant. I can't mention the brands involved but look on page 28 of the Guide for compliancy. A photo is required. Check for sanitizer at fueling area (Q18). Need a photo of column if not available or photo if sanitizer on pumps. Also photo if empty. All 3 payment decals are required on the each pump for a yes (pg 41 in the Guide) No photo needed. French Farmers explanation of QBW answers that question.

In the main guidelines page 27 near the bottom of the page it claims that BW is OSA that does not belong to the gas brand. Not sure how we're supposed to know if, for example, Budweiser's signage is current.

When filling out the reimbursement amount in the report it says that an invoice will be submitted automatically.

The pump decal instructions say there need to be three decals but the actual question only ask about two.

Some instructions are still unclear, even with the carefully updated guidelines.
I think this might be an error in the guide. Ipsos/Sassie hasn't needed invoices to be submitted for any other shops.
It must be an error!

In the old Maritz debriefs, it did say invoices were submitted automatically. However, with the Sassie platform, it does ask about the total reimbursement amount to be inputted, but nowhere can I find something about invoices being automatically.
I mentioned this before.
In searching for additional work, I am finding gas stations that I did last month (December) that I am able to self-assign.
I wonder if they (IPSOS) no longer have every other month rule?

they do have the rule. Pete(he’s in charge of the project) told me that the sassie site doesn’t take account of rotations so he has to manually check. sassie is awful... seriously, put a technician to work. would take 5 minutes to fix these issues(between rotations and filters not working). actually i take that back, it’s not sassie that’s awful, it’s just ipsos not bothering to set it up. i remember other sites like ath power, everything was fine on sassie.

In the shop form, at the very bottom, below the submit button it says the invoice will be submitted.
Also, you cannot "save" to finish later or lock in the part you've completed on the Sassie report unless all of the questions are answered. A warning will pop up telling what needs to be completed before it will save. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a "save."
Time to go back to bringing my pics and notes home to do on the computer. Sassie is simply not road/phone friendly. At all.

Thanks, I'll take a pic just in case.
I had to submit a lubricant photo even for a yes response. I think the report does not much up with the guidelines. And no one has responded to my urgent emails (so I can submit my reports on time) since the new year started. Talk about being unprofessional!
Thank you to all who have offered tips. I surely would have missed some. I thought these shops didn't start until 1/7. How have some of you already completed them?

Please note - there has been a mid-stream update to the lubricant question. A photo is required if compliant or not. It also says 6 facings are required to be compliant - 3 full synthetic and 3 M-1 (can't mention brand as MSC had been mentioned). I have yet to see oil containers with a Pegasus logo but plenty of M-1. I am assuming that 6 containers of M-1 will cover the compliant requirement, even though they are all full synthetic. M-Super and M-Delvac are out of scope products, whatever that means. I am also assuming that a container is facing.

I'm guessing here as the instructions are not very clear. In any case, I will take a pic of the lubricants or shot of the c-store interior, pay area or kiosk exterior if no oils offered.
A "facing" is a front slot on the shelf. Doesn't matter if there are any additional containers behind that first slot as long as there are at least 3 side by side (with each other or any other product).
So, question...some of my shops I can self-assign, and some (that have now been on the board for a week at least) say "Shop not available" when I try to assign...is this a rotation issue do you think? I did ALL of the shops last round - the ones I can assign, and the ones I can't
Yes, i'm sure it really is horrible that people dare get sick and stay home during a pandemic, versus going out on a $12 gas station shop. And, how silly of them for refusing to do these in a blizzard. Their safety shouldn't impinge on your day off.

I stated before that it is not a political statement but more out of safety because of the ongoing pandemic that I am limiting the amount of shops I do.
I've never flaked during my many years of doing shops and have always believed in my responsibility that if I assign shops for a particular time period, I shall perform the shop. For me, in the past, I've always kept an eye on weather reports and the best forecasts of upcoming hazardous weather.
So, its disappointing for me that shops that I would normally do in the 3rd week of the month as Maritz allowed, shall not be made available.

On another note, I see shops that I've done just this past week still listed on my "Shopper Log", now as being "received". So, what does that mean?
I've sent Emails to IPSOS and the scheduler regarding this as well as Invoice instructions.

So far - Nothing.

That's a Sassie thing...the shop will say "completed" until it's edited, then it will say "Received." And once it shows received, you'll be paid on the next cycle!

I'm having the same problem and the scheduler says it's a rotation problem but I'm trying to assign shops I didn't do last round and getting the same error so no clue.

They don't compare about your safety at all. They are concerned with the bottom line, aka money. I walked into a store in the middle of a robbery with a gun. The scheduler actually wanted me to return on another day so I could get paid. They would not pay me if I did not return to complete the shop.
"Shop Unavailable" means they have removed you from the program. Its one of their new and exciting actions at IPSOS. They don't let you know, heaven only knows how they are deciding these things, but its not a rotation issue.
Yes I have both Jan and Feb (2021) but a fraction of what I got assigned before. And they seem to assign, auto or manual for a short time frame making it difficult for form routes.
