Upon further research, I am now not sure who gets to vote for these awards. At least one source says Plus (paid) shopper members vote, but other sources are less clear.
I don't have a problem with anyone voting Intellishop as one of the winners. I do find a couple of things strange about Ron's post, though:
1. I can't find a list of the most recent winners online, and I don't get the timing of this announcement. The most recent list I can find is for the 2019 awards. As far as I can tell, 2016 was the first year of the awards, and it appears that past winners were announced at annual ShopperFests. If 2016 was the first year, then the fifth year of the awards would be 2020. So, why is Ron making this announcement now? Did shoppers just vote for the 2020 awards recently?

2. As far as I can tell from past years' results, there are multiple winners every year for this award. On Intellishop's own website, Intellishop is clearly identified as one of MSPA’s Shopper’s Choice WINNERS. Here, Ron makes it look like Intellishop was THE winner.

Strange. I never heard of this award and never saw any voting?
Me neither. Very strange. Who in the world would seriously vote Intellishop as the Shopper's Choice Company??? It must be something done through the MSPA members only (who are MSCs!!). Odd.
