Marketforce calling from new number

I received a call from a 415 area code number today, which turned out to be a scheduler from Marketforce. She said that the 415 number was their new number. Just thought I'd post this in case some of you receive calls from this new number and don't want to miss it.

It was definitely frustrating though that the scheduler tried offering me 2 shops below the current job-board-listed prices. Good thing I had looked at the job board last night. When I called her out on it, she just said, "Oh, sorry about that...", then offered me the job-board price, SMH. One shop I was able to get higher on, which I ended up accepting; but the other was a no-go.

Yeah they have been pulling that stuff for several months now, that's why I don't take the call unless I happen to have the site in front of me. Otherwise I call back after reviewing the board.

Haven't gotten a call from the 415 number, my last call, on Wednesday, was from the familiar 906 number.
Marketforce likes to call me shortly after the sun comes up while I'm still asleep. They want to me to talk and understand them BEFORE I've had coffee, and formulate reasons why I don't want to do the shop they are offering when it's unlikely I'll even remember the phone call.
@KokoBWare Strangely enough, after the 415 call on Thursday, I've received a few calls from their regular 906 number yesterday and today. So maybe they will call from 2 numbers now, or the scheduler on Thursday didn't understand my question about the 415 number...?

@Morledzep When I lived in CA, they would call me early in the morning. It annoyed me at times because I have difficulty sleeping and the calls would wake me up on weekends when I was trying to catch up on sleep, lol. Now that I'm in the midwest, they tend to call early evening...right when I'm making dinner.
Some of the schedulers work from home and call from their home business . We have been in pandemic mode for a year now. I still don't have a grasp on how the bonuses work.

I finally got them to quit calling me because they tended to call me early in the morning when I am doing things with pathogens and acids. I literally said, "I am working with concentrated sulfuric acid, please quit calling me. Just email."

I don't let things go to voicemail because in the last 4 years, I have had my kids call for: "Active shooter - we're on the floor of the In N Out taking cover," and, "I crashed the car x 2."
I got a call from the new area code a couple of weeks ago. Added the number to the Marketforce contact on my phone.

@SoCalMama That's terrifying! I hope everyone was okay!

It seems like Marketforce calls shoppers on the West coast/CA in the morning pretty regularly then, from what SoCalMama reports and my own experiences while living in CA.

Active shooter? My kids were OK. The police woman was killed. It took a few hours to find the guy. My daughter had one at her high school as well.

Anyway, MF quit calling me finally.
I would have said, "I am working with concentrated sulfuric acid. If I drop it, it's going to come right through the phone into your ear" - just to see if they would believe me/see what kind of reaction I would get.

I got a 415 call and she offered a $6 fee on a grocery shop but it was $14 on the board. She said, okay, I can give you $14. I could self-assign for $14 so why would they call and offer less?
