Mintel Payment One Day Late

Thanks so much for the reply I thought I might be losing my mind. I don't see anything on their site stating the shops are over. I don't understand. Oh well it's now Thursday and I can't get the boxes checked if I don't do them today or tomorrow. I'll write to Josh he's always quick to reply.

I did not get mine, either. She is out of the office today and hopefully will return tomorrow.

So, if we are "lucky," we will get our assignments for this week on THURSDAY.

I have shopped for MIntel for years and usually love the company. I currently work on only one of their projects, albeit at multiple locations. Each month, I also participate in the text-forwarding portion of that project.

I only deal with one scheduler for the project and she's been getting worse and worse. For a while now, she assigns the weekly assignments late and I also have to remind her repeatedly to assign the monthly survey for text forwarding. She has also been making mistakes.

It used to be she would respond to my emails in about a week. Then, it became weeks. Then, she never reponsded to my last email request for her to correct one of her mistakes.

I have tried to be understanding but I find myself having to waste time each month because of her. Now, it has gotten to a point that I cannot do what I need to do for the project.

This project used to be extremely easy and quite profitable for me. Now, because of the extra time and effort necessary to get her to do what she needs to do as a scheduler, this project has become a thorn in my side. It feels like nagging and that is unpleasant.

EVERYTHING you said is how I feel, you said it better. She asked me to open new boxes and I sent her an email with zip codes over three weeks ago. I have heard nothing. I think a heads up about this week's collection would have been in order. As you said this is easy money but sometimes I get so frustrated with her I just want to quit. I've been doing this for many years and never has the entire project been put on hold because of a 'holiday'. Josh did answer my email this morning and said she was on 'holiday' and would be back tomorrow. She's going to be so far behind she may never catch up. GRR!!!!!!
She's back and assigned me SOME of my assignments. When will she get to the other ones? No idea! A lot depends on when she actually bothers to check her email.
She did something similar to me the last time I sent her a list of zip codes for new boxes.

Some of my current boxes are far away (more than 30 minutes each way). I accepted other shops based on the expectation that she would assign the weekly shops by Tuesday at the latest. Her falling even further behind than usual really messed up my schedule. So, again, something she did decreased my profit margin.

Her email today apologized and said she was giving us extra time. I REALLY hope that doesn't mean she will delay the start of future weeks' assignments.

Monday is the first business day of the week. The weekly assignments used to be assigned on Monday.

Then, she got into the habit of assigning those shops on Tuesday.

Then, she began to make mistakes, citing the wrong week in the second email or not sending the second email at all.

I don't know if Josh really meant "holiday." I am still trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and would accept that perhaps "holiday" just meant a day off. I do not wish bad things for her but perhaps something urgent happened and she really needed a day off.

I just didn't like the trend. I hope, by not waiting until Thursday to assign the shops, she is getting better.

I am sorry if I am rambling. I am exhausted. I had about 5 hours of sleep last night and then had a 12-hour shopping day today. Some of my shops have a 12-hour reporting window. So, I can't even go to bed now.

I will not ask other schedulers to reschedule my shops because of her.

I'm going to start checking boxes today. I also have hopes that next weeks' boxes won't be delayed. I have a list of which boxes I check on which weeks so I can check if I happen to be going by. Perhaps Josh might think about putting someone in her position who is more efficient. This is very frustrating since I pride myself on my efficiency.
They totally do mot care that we plan routes…. Time and efficiency is necessary for us. They do not seem to care.
I wouldn't say "they." So far, it's only her.

Josh cared. He once gave me a surprise and generous bonus AFTER THE SHOP because the shop ran unexpectedly long. That was one of the reasons I loved Mintel.

Is Josh the one deciding who deals with the shoppers for the project? Does he even know there's a problem?

I don't want her to get in trouble but something's got to give. This can't continue.

Ok Mintel in general does not care about routes. I did get the email today about new jobs posted… not a single word of sorry it’s late…
This was how her mass email began for Week C (the one with the attachment):

"Hello!

So sorry for the delay in getting the collection surveys out this week. I have given extra time for the assignments to be completed to make up for it. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know!"

I am not including the whole email because her address was included.

Sorry for the double posts.

In Aug., after having submitted proof of my credit score, I was assigned six web shops, each of which I misread as paying $10. A few days later, I realized my error and I was to be paid $20 for each job. After submitting the required invoices, I noticed I had again misread the initial E-letter and I was paid $30 times 6 for $180. My money arrived in two days, which is the second fastest I have ever been paid in this business. The fastest was several years ago from Corporate Risk Solutions; they paid me in approx. 25 minutes.
