This is a frequently discussed topic on this board recently. As I have mentioned elsewhere, I don't remember this phenomenon pre-Covid. Seems to be a new tactic and in fact it has turned me into a call screener because I just can't trust them. I will call back after checking the board sometimes and tell them the board price is higher than their offer, then they invariably try to offer me the board price. After which I demand a bonus above board price. I usually don't get it lol.@Blkstorm wrote:
Be careful when Marketforce calls with a shop offer. Check your board before you accept because in every instance they try to offer me a lower fee than what is posted on the board. I just had a scheduled hang up on me because I called her out on it

They have always been able to match the website pay when I tell them what it is, but they say that they can't see what the website fee is.

So what would prevent you from saying well no its on the board for $35 (lying) since they can't see it but can give you the job board price. Yes its dishonest and low but the low ball @#$%& they trying is just as bad so whats good for the goose is good for the gander.
Side Note: I do not work for marketforce.
Why would you want them to just match the website pay when you could just accept it there if you wanted to do it for that price?? When they call me for the fast casual shop, I'm waiting to get offered the $25 they always pay me (eventually). Typically they will submit it for approval but if they say that they cannot, I tell them no and that I'll speak to them later in the weekend, which usually happens. Once you get paid a decent price for a location, you should be able to request that going forward. I recently got a $28 "make an offer" accepted on their site for a shop I'd always done for $25, likely because it was Tuesday and they were desperate. I am looking forward to insisting on $28 for that shop the next time the scheduler calls me.@mjt9598 wrote:
