kss off the blue stations...

it looks like kss won’t be handling blues this quarter. this actually makes me a little nervous. even though they were pretty strict about not giving incentives first couple months of the quarter, the last month was close to what it was with maritz(i’m basing this off the 6 months they had the project) and the scheduler is a great dude. super responsive, and helpful. the way he is, is not something i’ve seen from anyone at ipsos. it appears they’re now handling it on their own. what do you guys think, is it only gonna get worse for us?

LOL, I read this initially as "Kiss off the blue stations", which is, exactly, sort of what you meant.

I personally really really miss Maritz.
Hmmm. That is interesting!
I suppose that might explain why I'm seeing correspondence via Email from someone not at KSS. And, it would explain some really nice bonuses for June.

What would be nice if they expanded the shop weeks to a 3rd week.

june bonuses were kss. new quarter starts july.

Exactly, why would they (KSS) care anymore about the bonuses if they knew they were being ousted? Therefore, nice bonuses.
they did the same thing in march. it was just a last month of quarter thing for them.
What the MSC does at the beginning of the quarter is not predictive of what it will do towards the end of the quarter. As the clock ticks, the MSC may once again call on KSS to assist in scheduling.
Good play by Ipsos, though:

1. Use KSS to get more shoppers into their database for maximum competion.

2. Dump KSS while keeping the shoppers.

3. Make extra profit by cutting the KSS pay while maintaning heavy shopper competition where shoppers accept less pay.

right i’m aware of that, but it looked like kss had a pattern to bonus on last month of quarters based on march and june. we have no clue how it will be with ipsos. also, the kss scheduler was incredibly responsive, and i haven’t even seen anything remotely close to that with the ipsos schedulers.

Kern only extends the fees/bonuses that the MSC authorizes. Every MSC is looser with the cash at the end of the quarter.

but the kern contact was good and willing to work with us. no telling now what will happen. maybe fees will go up since no money will be going to kss but that would mean ipsos actually doing something to benefit shoppers.

yes. I used to do 90% of my work through Maritz. Had the system down, knew all the regulars on each team. They were a great company, always available to help you. But, we go with the flow. We are paid professionals. LOL

This is true. BUT, KSS knows that this is their role. Most MS companies use KSS to get new shoppers. As far as I know, KSS does not have any shops of their own. So they realize that this is how the game works.
I work a lot with the scheduler handling this shop at IPsos and she is a super star. I have emailed her at 11pm looking for an answer in the morning and get an answer right back. She is one of the best I have worked with in years. The PM sets the fee not the scheduler.

i mean the guy who had the project before i had his cell and he'd get back to me within minutes so i doubt she'll do better than that. is it JB doing it now? maybe she's good. the few times i asked her anything it took awhile for a response.
