Question about Marketforce "Merchandising & Theatre Services"

What types of shops are on this side of the MF site? I already have a subscription to Regal Unlimited so 'free' movies via secret shopping are of no interest. I hate to sign up for yet another shopper site if it's not one I'll use.

Market Force isn't Ipsos, it's a different company. I deactivated my membership with MF's "Purple Portal" as it has been called (the former Certified portal). I only rarely took assignments from there and decided it wasn't worth the bother. Thus I can't vouch for what's on there now. I can tell you that "free movies" are pretty rare, most assignments do not require you to (and in fact don't allow you to) stay for an entire feature.

Of course you are correct, total brain fart for having too many tabs open on my browser! Corrected my post.

I have not done this for a little while, so I encourage you to sign up and check the board often. As with the mystery shop side, things can change. You might find something you like. You can request e-mail notification for their gigs. Recent-ish merchandising gigs have included audio visual materials, clothing, gifts, and other items at travel centers and gift cards at convenience stores. Would any of those locations fit into any of your routes? For awhile, there were inventories of 3-D glasses at theaters. The base pay for this was more than enough for one movie ticket. A bonus could feed you or pay for a guest ticket. A great bonus could cover two tickets and snacks for two people. Some people might have preferred that to a reimbursed movie shop that included a report.

These days it's mostly retail merchandising with various time in-store requirements although we've recently picked up some installations and expect in-theatre ad checking to come back any time now. Eventually the platforms will combine and you'll be able to see everything in one place...or so they tell mesmiling smiley

Okay, I thought MF sold their merchandising business to SPAR. Are they back in it again?
I signed up with them a few years ago. I have done product evaluation shops. They also have gift card type merchandising.

@wrosie Not the actual shops. We utilize two different databases depending on the assignment type so we had some low coverage areas posted on the theatre/merch side to encourage reps who many not know about both to sign up.
