MF CANCELLATIONS

Did anyone else have a bunch of scheduled shops cancelled by MF today? Something about the client changing their mind or an internal error on their part. Nothing bad reflected on the shopper. I have never had this happen with MF before in over 10 years.

yes. me too. grocery shops.

Yes. I lost ten of them, also. If the client decided to change MSCs, I want to know where to pick them up. I used to do these shops for another MSC before MF got them as a client.

Do you know if they switched MSCs? Seems weird that the client would change while shops were already scheduled to be done.

I didn't want you to name the client. I know better! Grocery shops would have sufficed.

Interesting, MF hasn't had a grocery client near me since pre-Covid. The previous client looked like they were coming back in the early days of the reopening, I took one and had it canceled by MF forthwith. Never a hint of another grocery client with MF since then.

MF put in an extra pre-qualification not long ago about the client having and using cameras.

same here...

Same here. There were precious few regional grocery stores that were shopped, and even fewer discount grocery stores. COVID knocked them out and they haven't returned.

They kicked me out two months ago. I miss the grocery shops. Maybe they're just reorganizing....

What does that have to do with the removal of already assigned shops? The cameras have always been there; that is nothing new.

The grocery shops with MF in my area came back about 6 months ago....but with NO FEES and only Reimbursement....NOPE....not interested unless someone flakes and they have to add on a fee. They're still here in my area (Northwest corner of SC), for now. It's the chain based in Florida....so I don't know if that's the chain y'all are talking about that MF removed from you.

That's the one. I just checked Greenville, SC, and Atlanta, GA zip codes but did not see any on MF's board.

I live on the NC/SC border and shop both states. Neither state has the grocery client on my board. I think it was about a year ago when they stopped paying a fee for those shops. I wondered if that was some kind of an omen.

Not for Market Force. Both my husband and I don't see them in Georgia and my mother doesn't see them in Florida either. We all used to do them for the green Southeast regional chain.

NOPE. They're gone now!! They were there a couple of days ago. Well, that was sorta quick!

In FL, there were tons of grocery shops last week. They are all gone now.

Altima. We are not allowed by ICA and forum guidelines to mention the client and the MSC. You need to edit your post.

Maybe the green grocery of MF needs to reevaluate their strategy? The blue Cinncinati based grocer is moving on to their turf in parts of FL, expanding their ecommerce reach.

Had this happen a week ago was told the same thing.

They have warehouses and deliveries in the Tampa Bay area only, no stores. It would be so nice if they open actual stores here.

Me too. Lmk if you find out anything or where they go. Very dependant on that kind. Idk what happened
