I've done over 1,500 shops for intellishop and never had a problem with Matt. I know Matt is a scheduler I don't think he edits though.

I can't recall a single shop that's been excluded when following the guidelines there either. In fact I find them more than generous when things go wrong.
I have had to ask Matt questions before taking a shop and have had to ask a couple of times to have a shop re-scheduled. I've never had a problem at all with him. And I don't believe he's an editor, as foodluvr says. As far as Intelli-Shop, they're about the easiest-going MSC I shop for in terms of evaluating and scoring reports. I had one issue last year, and the scheduler (not Matt) worked tirelessly with me to find a way they could accept the shop. (Lost a receipt and my geo-code verify wasn't working, so I had to screen-shot my EXIF data and send to her so that they could see I'd been at the right location at the time I said I was. The scheduler went out of her way to help me figure out how to prove I was there.)

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I'm with Birdy, food and helena. I have never experienced the slightest problem with Matt. What I have noticed over my 11+ years on this forum is an inordinate number of new participants complaining, while being shrouded in anonymity.

100%! This MSC is more than fair with their shoppers and they try to go out of their way when things don't go as planned. They're not the highest paying company out there but they make up a good percentage of my work because they're easy to deal with and I know they have my back!

I was wondering that, too, Honny!

I have never once had anything other than a 10/10 on any Intelli-shop report. Only once was one kicked back to me - and that was for a legitimate reason. I have found Matt both friendly and responsive both my e-mail and telephone. The only issue I have with the company is the same one I have with every MSC -- viz. I think I am worth greater fees than they think. smiling smiley
I don't know Matt personally, but in my occasional dealings with him I have had nothing to complain about.
Matt has always been very helpful. I am sorry you had a bad experience but in my 5 years of MS, I never had a problem. He always responds promptly whenever I needed clarification. My shop was excluded once because of a mistake made by an editor and he got it rechecked and it was included.

I, also, have never had any problems with Intellishop. I know Matt has scheduled some of my shops in the past and there were never any issues. I did have a shop rejected about 10 years ago, but that was my error. Matt is not an editor, so to call him out on something he isn't responsible for is very unprofessional. To call someone an idiot is even more so!
Honestly, the only issue I have with this company is that for some projects they just don't pay very well for the amount of work. On some projects they do. So you just have to be selective. That said, they have some of the nicest, most responsive schedulers in the entire industry. My two favorite schedulers in the entire mystery shopping universe work for this company. Their editors are generally very reasonable, and they will work with you to try to get a shop accepted as opposed to just dismissing out of hand. I apologize if your experience was poor, but mine has always been awesome.
I was going to ask "what people" but Honny covered that. I was going to note the recent spate of new posters in attack mode but Shopperbob addressed it. So I will mention the mysterious disappearance of OP. Shall we issue a BOLO or is it maybe just nap time?

This. I would do many more shops for them if the fees were higher. I did a paint shop for them once, and because I had to wait for the rep to be done with another customer, I lost $$ on the shop by the time I was done!

I resisted signing up with them for years, specifically because of the low fees everybody here talked about. But once I did, I had no regrets. You just have to watch for bonuses on some shops.

Love Matt. He is a gem and I have always had a great experience with him. He always returns emails quickly and takes time explaining something I am not sure about. He also works hard to get more pay when justified. I haven't worked for this MSP for a while not because of anything other than they don't have anything I am interested in. There is one scheduler at this MSP I do refuse to do any work for. I don't care how small the shop is. If you burn me on pay. I will never work for you again.
My experiences with Matt have always been professional and accommodating. The consistency is greatly appreciated.
Ditto for what I have read about Matt...he is straightforward and accommodating...as much as I can hope for with an MSC scheduler!
Responsive? Wow, I have found him responsive when it benefits him and only when it benefits him. Otherwise you never get a response. And he'll exclude reports even though you do exactly what's in the guidelines.

I'm not sure how many times people need to say this before you understand: He's not an editor, to the best of my knowledge; he's a scheduler. The person to whom you need to direct your anger is the editor who didn't accept your shop. Matt is likely the one who acts as a go-between when a shop is in question (rarely do editors want to actually communicate with shoppers), so you may be communicating with him about a rejected shop. But the editor is the one who accepts, rejects, or questions a shop.

Very rarely is the person who schedules a job the same one who edits it. I work with maybe two companies, and IntelliShop isn't one, for whom the project manager both schedules and edits shops.

Can you explain what "...only when it benefits him" means? Given nothing but opinion is in any of your posts, it sounds like you have the grand total of nothing to support your troll-like rant.
Still nothing about what you think benefits him. For the sake of argument lets stipulate that the scheduler is also the editor (highly, highly doubtful but lets go with it). What is gained by the scheduler/editor through rejecting reports?

+1 for Matt and Intellishop, no issues

Based on the last several threads that OP has attempted to start, it appears they are in the minority here. Not only that, OP won't provide any details or specifics around why they feel the way they feel or how they feel they are wronged, I don't think you're going to get a whole lot of sympathy here. Most of us have had really good interactions with Matt and with Intellishop.

But since we're all independent contractors unless you work in nevada, you're welcome to cut ties and fire whomever you wish.

I would say from a professionalism standpoint, I wouldn't go attacking people on a forum as that doesn't help your cause and could hurt your business.
I don't know if I have worked with Matt Liasse. However, I would like to complete some of the oil change and ff shops he now handles.

His oil change shops can be a great value, especially if you can get a decent payment on top of the reimbursement. The reports are not too bad. The last time I did it, I got a $50 oil change reimbursed plus a $25 payment on top of it. The report only took me about 20 minutes.

These are great shops if you can wait until the fee starts climbing. We had 3 cars, but only one was eligible. We've only paid for maybe one oil change for that one in probably 2 years! Last time I got a tire rotation, which you can do if the place offers it. That put me over the reimbursement, but I had gotten a higher-than-base fee, so I wasn't out of pocket at all.

Now we have 4 cars, and I'm hoping the new one will be eligible. I haven't thought to check yet. You have to do a few timings and make several observations, but nothing you won't be able to handle. Try one!
