Current MSC List

Anyone know where to find a current list of active MSCs? I've been going down the list of the companies at the bottom of this forum and most don't exist anymore. TIA

A few days ago I asked if there was a way forum readers could update the list. The often given advice for newbies to go down that list to sign up makes me cringe.
I think that's a great idea.

I miss the magazine, as well.

Wonder if we could volunteer our help? I'm sure Jacob and staff have been impacted by the same forces that have impacted us as shoppers.

I'm, on board. Anything I can do to help?
No one's heard from Jacob in ages, though. He hasn't posted anything on this Forum in who knows how long???
Someone had been doing moderator work. Just look at the post from ShopperBob where he disagrees with the moderator.

I brlieve that there are an unknown number of volunteer miderators. The system has seemed to be on autopilot for 2 years to me. Thew newsletters stopped. I suspect that moderators are slowly "retiring" and are not being replaced. I value this forum, and someone, somehow is paying for things like the website registration, hosting, storage, etc. If it ends, where will we go? I am serious. Where would we go?

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
Someone else would have to step up. But I can't spend too much time in the hospital or at the doctors. I even turned down a $100 medicare shop because I will not go to the state fair. I could not walk that far and there are oodles and oodles of people that are not vaccinated out there.
Honestly I was thinking about being the person who can attempt to fix that list. I would need to be a mod and would also like to clean up some of the forums. Honestly without these forums I would not be able to make money!
I also want to add that this forum is full of ads which is completely acceptable given that its free to be here and no one ever asks for donations. With that being said, I do think there should be no mod problems. As I said above I would love to oversee it. I think we all need to support the next generation of shopping.

On my laptop, I use an AdBlocker, and never see ads. On my phone, I don't have an ad blocker in use, and there, I see plenty of ads.
Love all the ideas seen here.

The following bit of information can be cleaned up and used, if needed. It is a small amount of the actual information. It is all I can think of in the few free minutes before work...

In no particular order except that which pops into my mind which is already at the job ahead:

- Maritz was subsumed by Ipsos and is no longer known as Maritz.
[anyone else could provide details about changes in scheduling, etc. if this is what the group wants.]

- Informa, part of Seelevel Hx now along with one or more companies, changed its name to Curinos.
[again, anyone can provide details to suit the group's wishes.]
*eta* please see the post below mine for corrected information.

- According to MFsherri (think this is the correct name?), both colorful sides of Market Force have melded or will meld into one userface where active shoppers and theater workers/merchandisers can see the full array of assignments.
[the usual. how much info do you all choose?]

- Jancyn bought something with Consumer and Measure in the name, which no longer exists due to this change.
[you all know what to do now. winking smiley]

etc. because other posters work with/have worked with many more companies than I have and have more information to share.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some knowledgeable soul might share that Customer Impact now has mostly merchandising gigs, at least in some areas. In the past, this company also had some restaurant and/or other assignments.
Another talented member might know that, say, Reality Based Group regularly features restaurant, retail, and whatever shops they regularly feature.
Another Brandt lover might list the types of shops they have completed or seen for this company.
etc. You are clever and can decide what is most helpful for long-timers and newbies. I merely based these little lists on questions that I frequently see on this forum.
Great post!
I am confused about this, though:
"- Informa, part of Seelevel Hx now along with one or more companies, changed its name to Curinos.
[again, anyone can provide details to suit the group's wishes.]"
I didn't know SeeLevel HX had something to do with Curinos. OTOH, Intouch Insight is acquiring SeeLevel HX.
Fixed that, sort of. I referred readers to your post.
This is why a group effort is good. You can spot my goofs and figure out how much of the information you all have suits your wishes. smiling smiley
Hi Everyone!
Informa combined with Novantas to form Curinos. We did not merge with SeeLevel HX.
Thank You!
Thanks to Bri for the wonderful news that Informa is in no way associated with SeeLevel. I lost Monterey, a few years back, when I was informed I MUST also enroll with SeeLevel, a company I had disassociated myself from many years ago.
