Old mystery shopper

This is hard. I used to do about 100 shops a month. Mainly Ipsos.
I have been in treatment for Non-hodgkin's lymphoma, inluding a bone marrow transplant. It's been over a year now. I think I'm ready to get back to work. Problem is the Ipsos site isnt cooperating. I'm probably going to need new training. Lol.
Any suggestions?

No suggestions on IPSOS as I have not worked with them in a while; however, I am glad to hear that you are back and ready to work again. Best of luck!

As I am adverse to aggravation, I only accept an Ipsos job that has an independent scheduler, as they rapidly both respond to queries and solve problems. The last occasion when I had a question concerning a non-scheduler shop,, it took three days for a response.
Hi janalou! I remember you! Sorry you've had to go through the non-hodgkins lymphoma treatments and bone marrow transplant. I hope the treatments have been successful.

As far as IPSOS, are you aware that the sign in page now gives you the option of signing in either on their Sassie site or Metrics site?? And each site needs their own ID/password.

Which part of IPSOS are you having issues with? Perhaps if you could be more specific, more of us could give you some helpful tips! Glad you're back!
I love ipsos-they pay fast. I’ve done a bunch of their certifications just in case I work up the courage for a more intensive job. So far though, I’ve mostly done their straight forward shops. Fewer steps.
Hi Janalou, Ipsos has merged or bought or joined with several other companies in the past few years so it is a bit more difficult to sign in as guysmom says. For my account if I try to sign into the Shopmetrics side which I use more often I get a pop up with two side by side sign in boxes. The one on the left is for shopmetrics but in order to sign in there I find I have to click on cancel on the pop up that shows up on top of the page. If I click on the non cancel choice it tries to automatically sign me into the Sassie side. There may be something more straightforward but I have yet to figure it out. You also need to have the correct country site since it is an International company.
I remember you, too! I did figure out the Metrics and Sassie platforms. Not being able to call or contact a scheduler is terrible. Give me Team 3 and Team 5, please. I'm wondering how the blue gas station report is on Sassie. I'm intimidated.
Hi Janalou! smiling smiley I know little to nothing about the shops that concern you, but I offer you infinite encouragement. smiling smiley

Jan,

I recommend the following three independent Ipsos schedulers: Jen Barrick, Celeste Borden and Regina Byalkina. Jen, as an example, first scheduled a job for me in 2005.

It's a bit of an adjustment, and not as efficient as the Legacy site but it's not awful, either. You'll get the hang of it. Welcome back!
janalou,

I'm glad you're back!

The blue shops have split, there are two different types now. I personally like the Image shops best, no purchase, no mystery, just audit. On the Sassie platform it's not so bad, I miss the old OnSite mobile app though. The cool thing about Sassie, is that you can only load ONE picture in each question. You get to take a LOT fewer pics, and the shops take less time, even when you enter the surveys while you're on site.

Sassie is a little temperamental on a smartphone, and if you don't save your work often you can lose all of it and have to start over. I was taking the pictures on my smartphone, then transfering the pics to my laptop. But it was still taking way too long. So I bought a 10" android 5G capable tablet. I take all the pics with the tablet, and complete everything online while I'm on site. It's far less temperamental than the smartphone, doesn't lose the signal and reset or rotate the screen back and forth randomly and make you lose your place. I can do most shops in one pass, easy ones only take about 10 minutes, while sitting in my truck in the shade.
Welcome back. I am an older shopper too, off and on for 20 some odd years. I am back again too after being out for a while, and I am loving it. There are different opportunities as your demographics change, and I have been pleasantly surprised at that. There is also a lot you can do without ever leaving the house. Being real, I have been having problems with the Ipsos site as well, but there has been so much other going on, I haven't worried too much about it. Some of their self-assigns I haven't even been able to find on their site came up for me this morning on Presto.
