Will Coyle ever increase their pay?

I understand pay is based on market dynamics and if someone is willing to spend 3-4 hours writing a report for $5, well good for them. However, lately I have been seeing several shops staying on the platform and they have been there for awhile. I am surprised the businesses listing on Coyle don't get frustrated because the shops are just stuck there.

Due to narrative averse shoppers, my pay continues to escalate. Hopefully, it is a trend that will not only continue but also become more prevalent. There are situations where a company being well able to adjust to a supply:demand ratio, adopts a stance where they refuse to budge. So be it! I will have my fee or I am perfectly content to sit. Unless it is a lifestyle shop or one where I am using the work to cover non-shopping expenses, I rarely have a job until the last week of the month.
I’ve seen some Coyle shops go for $30-45 shop fee, plus a very nice $120 reimbursement. This is after they lingered on the boards for 2-3 months.
I do agree with the original poster that some shops seem to linger. I just wait if I don't think the pay is enough.

However, I just finished shops in the last two weeks for $75 and $100. It took me about 70 minutes combined onsite and about 80 minutes combined travel time.. Reports were long an tedious. I don't know why you click on a yes answer and then have to restate the question in the affirmative as a remark. But that's what's required.

I did two at $150 each just yesterday. Same shop as the previous two. I had total travel time of two hours for the two shops. I added three other shops in the same city to make it a $387 route.

I've been paid for the first two. None of these shops required i spend any money and they were not upscale dining shops.
I have been out of the game for some years but it pains me to see the new way they do the "bidding" and they tell you what most shoppers "win" the shop for. I used to think the reimbursement was worth the report but it was also always a minimum $15 dollar profit as well. Now most in my area sit at $0. Not going to be touching these any time soon unfortunately because I did enjoy some of them.
