I submitted a report last night without putting some explanatory comments in the last box--because the instructions said that they would not be responded to and to contact your scheduler with anything that needed a response. I felt that the situation--which was totally out of my control--may have needed further communication. I emailed the information to the scheduler, and she responded that I should have put the comments in that box and that the report will be bounced back to me for clarification, and I can enter them then. However, the issue is one that might get the shop rejected outright. I'm trying to be pro-active and get the information to editing before they reject the report or send it back.
Sometimes when you put those comments in a report, they don't get read (or fully understood) anyway!
If anyone has an email address for an editor, I'll see if I can head off the problem. Thanks!
