So I have several out of town big paying jobs with a company. I need to be out of town with them for several of these amusement park audits. I would love to find some hotel audits to help along the way. What companies can I contact to apply for some?

The shoppers in the know will post soon. They should tell you which companies have hotel shops in general and which have the more or less detailed assignments. This information will help you to determine which hotel gigs will best fit with your amusement park audits. Have fun!

Hotel stays are never "free." You will work, believe me.

From what many posters have written over the years, you will be busy completing the required elements of the hotel shop and the written reports on them for the duration of your stay, especially with Coyle. There are some other MSCs with fewer required interactions, fewer photos, etc., but you need to be very careful. I have done a few pre-COVID which required you to check-in, assess the room, take photos, and then check out and get the charges reversed, but that is not the type you seem to be looking for.

I would rather do a couple of additional regular shops and just pay for an inexpensive hotel rather than doing most hotel reports. It's much less work and more relaxing in the grand scheme of things. After a long day of shopping and completing reports, the last thing I want to do is continue to shop and write reports.

Most hotel shops that I am aware of, as available (currently), will not be the type (scope) that allows for other assignment completions and reporting as well.
In other words, you'll be at the hotel property the entire 24/7 and still rush to get all the required interactions in on time.

Although it sounds good on paper. I would step carefully as well. The amusement assignments tend to be very labor intensive. There is a reason they pay so well. The hotel shops tend to vary, but they are going to take a fair amount of time as well. Some of them have left me feeling like I was going to fall flat on my face before I got everything down they wanted. You will be on the job the minute you see the hotel sign in the distance. Literally. Not to say that it isn't doable, but it will be a lot more fun and closer to doable if you have a partner who honestly helps with the details. If it is an option, it might also be a good idea to take a hotel shop closer by to get a feel for what you are dealing with before you plan a major shop with that and another big assignment on the same itinerary. In addition to other that has been mentioned, A Closer Look also has a certain number of hotel shops. Their reports are on the comprehensive side.

I am in Alberta, so may not be helpful.
Servicewithstyle shops a chain here that has a pretty simple assignment and report. It could be combined with other work. It reimburses the night, no fee.

This. I rarely have time to leave the hotel property during a hotel evaluation. I even have to chart out my time by the hour to make sure all of the interactions are completed. At most maybe 2 hrs in the evening to see the town but definitely not enough time for an amusement park shop.

I have done a couple of hotel shops with Service With Style (in Canada). Shops paid $30 plus reimbursement. Report took less than an hour - check-in, hallway evaluation, room evaluation, front desk assistance, and check-out.

Some overnight stays allows for leisure time while most don't. If you find yourself having extra down time you should spend that finishing your reports or outlining your pictures/whatever else you need to prep your report. I've done some assignments for easy hotel assignments for BestMark and ACL.

There is not likely to be time for other shops while on a typical hotel shop. You will be better off paying for a hotel yourself to do the amusement shops. It will be tax deductible as a business expense. Then add a fast casual/fast food shop at the beginning and end of the day.

The only "enjoyment" on a typical hotel shop will be your husband/wife/partner enjoying the free time and anenities. Most do not allow babies, young kids, and teens. There are exceptions, but pay attention to the generalizations.

I once scheduled two other shops the same day I took on a typical (read: MASSIVE) hotel report. I am very detail-oriented and ended up having to pull an all-nighter and I enjoyed almost no elements of ANY of the shops to any degree at all. It may seem like a great plan, but in most cases, you are going to give yourself anxiety and pressure to the point that you'd be much better off just having slept in your car rather than subjecting yourself to the major undertaking that is a typical hotel shop. Speaking as someone who has performed more than 60 hotel evaluations, stacking shops is not a great idea for the bulk of standard hotel assignments. I have completed reports for ALL of the biggest chains in the U.S. You can't think of it as "one" report, really. One standard hotel report is truly more like anywhere from 10-15 reports rolled into one massive document. It can be a lot. Particularly if you are new to it. When you have done a few, they get a bit easier to plan and execute, but it is still a lot to manage. The reimbursements are usually great but the fees are usually less than 40 bucks or often just nothing at all.

On a positive note, there are some exceptions. The least stressful experiences I have had where you could easily stack on extra shops would be the Yogi Bear campground shops where you can get a glamping cabin (some locations are pristine, but some are super shoddy, so read reviews first!!) and then also a certain company someone "might have" mentioned earlier that gives multi-day shops, typically for timeshare audits. I have done those and outside of spending an hour dealing with the timeshare presentation and another hour or so to do your report diligently, you have the remainder of what could even be as many as 5 days all to yourself. Sometimes they put you up at a resort, but sometimes you are shopping the timeshare at a resort but they put you up at more of a glorified motel situation, so read carefully before you plunge. Mine have frequently included free tickets to waterparks, etc, and I spent practically two of my three whole days just floating on the lazy river with my shop long-submitted and not a care in the world. One of my favorite shops ever!!! So they are out there, but you have to be careful with what you choose. Good luck!
