Curinos ( formerly Informa ) Problems Applying No Contact From Scheduler

I tried to self-assign a shop offered by the above MSC (says I am allowed to ) I get msg. that I cannot self assign, but must apply. OK I applied. Nothing. My application doesn't even show in my app section. I try again. Same result. I contact scheduler who send out the shop offers. No reply. Any advice is appreciated. I have performed shops for Informa in the past. Don't understand what's going on. TY

whenever im denied for a self-assigned shop that i qualify for its because im not the right sex, legally I dont think they are allowed to say that so thats why its never in the guideline. Race, sex or class, you dont meet at least 1
Sorry, but only "employees" are covered by the laws that you say are being broken. Moreover, these shops. for this MSC client often state that they need to fill shops with a specific gender or language or ethnicity. Their clients are testing whether all get the same level of service. Good on them!

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
there were no restrictions on this shop, other than 6 month rotation. I performed similar shop a few years ago. if I aged out or there's another reason, it would be nice if this MSC replied to my email.

You do not have to be an employee at any company to sue for discrimination based on age, sex, or religion.
That is bold face lie, they never state that, if they did this person would not be confused over why they can't self-assign a qualified shop and schedulers would not feel the need to message me after I apply to said shops to tell me why I wasnt assigned.
Hi @SS4U

If you are having any trouble self-assigning it is likely due to your profile not matching the targeted demographic. Please email me, Briana.Goldman@curinos.com and I will be happy to look into the self-assign issue.

Not being a why oriented person, any MSC is free to not inform me as to the reason for any decision to not use me for an assignment. I do, though, understand and respect that other shoppers may not agree with my position. As the old adage goes, "One person's meat can be another's poison."
the portal would not allow me to apply for this shop, either. If I have aged out, the MSC should say so and stop sending me job offers so I can deactivate and move on. It's possible that there's a malfunction, too. Thankfully, the field rep provided contact info. TY for replying.
follow up: a big shout out to the rep here from Curios (Informa) who helped me sort this out. Apparently, the job is for a male only. I did not see that in the job details, but in the future if this should happen, I will use the filter function for more information in case my application doesn't show up. TY and glad I didn't age out LOL
Just a though, wouldn't it be easier to post within the guidelines for a certain assignment that this assignment is for which every sex and/or age group that the client requests? In this way, the shopper would know what shops he/she can apply for and the scheduler would not answer or not answer all of the other request from shoppers that not qualify for this assignment?
my thought exactly ! any restrictions should be visible, inc. age, sex, rotation.
Briana is the best. Easy to work with and professional. No complaints. I love the shops I can get from Informa/Curinos.
