Searching for Assignments on Coyle

Hi, I'm new to Coyle and trying to figure out their search engine. I'm not sure if I just haven't learnt to use it properly yet, but it seems very difficult to filter down the opportunities that match my requirements. Here are my issues:

- City name: I want to find open opportunities in my area, but when I put in a city name, it doesn't always show every open opportunity in that city. For example, it says there are two open opportunities when in reality there is a third one visible on the map.
- Post code: How do these even work? No matter what post code I try, it says there are no visits available. Does this feature only work with US postcodes? Does it work with any international post codes?
- State: Guessing this is just for US states? And it only works with the abbreviation eg. New York = NY?
- Distance: This just doesn't seem to work, since I get locations that are hundreds of miles away from my chose city.
- Survey: This is a bit useful, but finding it difficult to predict the names of the visits I'm interested in.
- Changing location on map: This has helped a bit, but it takes quite a few clicks to drag the little man and then go to map view to see what visits pop up. Also, even increasing the range to the highest setting doesn't quite capture an entire country, so I usually have to do this process several times to make sure I'm not missing any visits just beyond the scope of the radius.
- Type of shop: From what I can see, there's no way to filter down the type of assignment you want eg. hotel, restaurant etc. Am I wrong?

So, what do you use to filter down visits? Is there a better way than the above?

The interface has some issues. What I have done to manage it is to erase zip and distance then put state in. Then hit the refresh button and assignments from your state will populate. You will have to mentally judge distance within your state. With the original settings I get international assignments listed as local.
PestoPasta, are you not US based? From reading your post it appears you aren't.

I don't know how to search for international shops, including those in Canada. I do know if I just put in my postal code without my US state, I get a lot of international locations listed. Mainly in Asia-Pacific it seems.
Hiya, no I’m currently not based in the US. I travel quite a bit though, so I was mainly trying to figure out the best way to search for international locations. Seems like the map feature is the most reliable, but you really have to move around the location a few times to make sure you’re not missing out on visits just outside the radius.
