Your favorite niche MSC companies

I am newer to the forum -forgive me- but I wanted to see if anyone had a favorite MSC that is not their bread and butter.

Is there a MSC that you love but you do not use that often?

As someone who only recently started taking this more seriously, I'm ignorant. I signed up for dozens of companies from this resource and most have consistently yielded 0 shop results in a 999 mile radius.

I love DJC's in Sassie. Their schedulers are really really really nice. It looks like they pretty much have things to do in California and Arizona.

Your turn.

If you need to correct something, even in the Title, you can click on the "Edit" in your first post, and you can make corrections.

Thanks, guysmom
DJC is great. They pay quick. You won't get rich off them, but they have a SOLID client that nearly everyone adores. So the free meal and $5 keeps people happy enough. Just not enough for some of these professionals that rely on making $$$ from shopping.
Market approach, David and Kim and the rest of the team are fantastic.

Amusement Advantage is also great. They have a small team and are extremely responsive.

I like White Clay also and find their team easy to work with.

I make a significant annual amount with BVA but I don't think they're recruiting for their US-based project. The leads are great even though they're a French company.

Thanks so much for the comment! Shoppers are welcome to sign up with us at [MarketApproach.ClientSmart.com] for our travel shops! We pay twice a month VIA ACH directly into the bank account of your choice. We’ve been in business for almost 20 years! Our company website is www.market-approach.com

Looking forward to working with more of you!

Both of the MSCs that are at the top for me, no longer exist.

#1, considering total earned, is Maritz. They were easily accessible and never hesitated to, when needed, open their purse.

#1, in total shops, is pre-2022 Strategic Reflections. They were as easily accessible as Maritz and the purse, when needed, would pop open.

As you can see, both accessibility and money are hot buttons for me.
I agree. I loved Maritz. I thought I read somewhere that they were taken over by IPSOS, but I could be wrong.
Bob is technically correct that those companies don't exist anymore, but Maritz got integrated into IPSOS. I forget who Strategic Reflections is now part of.

But when another company takes over/merges/or whatever....many of the original company policies change. So Bob liked Maritz and the bonuses which are not the same now that they are under IPSOS.

DJC fits the description of a “niche” company and they are nice too!
DJC is nice... and it's good to be nice, considering how they pay much less than another company that also offers burger shops.
@lindaM....Not sure what place they pay less than, but for the "adored" chain I'm referring to, they are on the only MSC for it and people prefer this place over nearly all others. The quality and value is unparalleled.
I loved Performalogics to work for. They got absorbed into Intouch and payment went down sad smiley and some of the jobs went away sad smiley Other than that, InTouch is nice to work for.

I like Frontlineshoppers because they pay well for a job that really is just doing a necessary errand.

I believe they were bought out by and incorporated into RBG (Reality Based Group), which has shops on both the Sassie and iSecretShop platforms. ***However, Strategic STILL DOES HAVE some shops on its ShopMetrics platform as well!

Would anyone mind pointing me to DJC shopper sign-up? I googled it and keep ended up at generic Sassie and/or Customer Impact.

Their burger is just okay for me. For a long time, I have felt that the chain is a bit overhyped. To each his/her own.

There are running threads on this site about another burger shop by another MSC. They pay is $14.20 + $15 or usually more... and people are still complaining.

Again, it pays to be nice because DJC pays way less.

Actually that company starts the pay at $9 and you have to wait to see if they increase it when the shop is not taken. The reimbursement is $14.20 which in most areas does not cover the necessary purchase. DJC fully reimburses the purchase.

Nice is important. DJCs fits that bill. I mean, really, how hard is it to be fair and nice? The callous hypocrisy of Intellishop and Ipsos is something we all have to "put up with"....

I used to love to do the candy shops for Market Approach, but there's been nothing else for me since 2019.

Amusement Advantage is fantastic and I used to love to do the Baltimore shop, but I don't live in that area anymore and don't even know if they do that one anymore. I thought their reports were easy enough and the fee was appropriate for the work involved. I would do an assignment for them in a second if it applied to me.

Shopping the South Jersey Shore
Belated thank you to Tanischri87 for the link! I was traveling so just now got to it.

Have a great evening!
I miss Service Sense and the chains they did in Southern California. I am not sure if they are around anymore, but I liked them.

Has anyone done anything with them recently?

The owner couple "retired" to Florida sometime around the beginning of the pandemic and set the company up with a scheduling company. Since it was pandemic I did not find anything nearby and have not checked lately. But the personal contact with the owner was my favorite part of Service Sense.
Yes, Bill from SS was great. Very responsive. He did not have a large company, but treated his shoppers and the client very well. I'm sure the client (if they continued the shops) is probably not happy with the dropoff in service.
He was my first mystery shop. A friend took a class on Mystery shopping and bought the info book. Service Sense was listed. She took me along on her very first shop which was the Mexican upscale fast food place. One day he called her for a last minute job she could not do so he gave me the job and that was how i started.
Ardent Services was one of my favorite shopping companies with great pay and a super friendly team. They lost their big burrito client and then the burger client went away for covid and the company seems to have folded or been acquired with a dead website.
@LindaM wrote:

guest check also folded. they had some nice hotel clients.

If I remember correctly an email was sent out a few months ago saying they were sold and that there is anew name now: "Holmes and Watson".
