App based shops in stores

I carefully completed the razor study -quite a few, actually- and I was rejected. I said an item as described in the instructions wasn’t there.

If the item LOOKS the same, but has a different SKU on the product and tag would you say it’s there?

I made notes of the issue, but was rejected.

Lots of effort. No payout. This could affect quite a few other people doing these.

The SKU is the items social security number. If the SKU didn't match, it wasn't the same item regardless of how it looked.

Some of the apps are super picky for low pay. And if you have a question while you're in the middle of it, it's hard to get an answer on the spot. Sorry it was rejected.
Hi - since the name of the product was not mentioned nor was the project name, can you clue us in on the app that you are referring to? If you’re not comfortable providing that information, I completely understand. I’m starting to think I may stay away from the app only jobs. I have only performed 2 quick audits in the past for an app called Field Agent but all the rest of the apps seem like they want tons of pictures for almost no pay. I’ve seen jobs on another app paying $3 plus reimbursement if you agree to purchase a product and leave a positive review. This seems shady to me, especially since you are required to leave a positive review and not just an honest review. The world’s largest online only store will ban you from ever leaving a review again if they find out you were paid to review a product.
Sounds like Observa to me. Doesn't really seem to matter what you do for them, it will always be wrong and you will not get paid.
That is exactly what popped into my head. Never have done anything for them and don’t plan to.

That’s the way I completed it. They rejected me saying the item was in the picture.

Field Agent. I will say I have had some really easy and cool ones. One paid $12 from my house -took 10 minutes.

Mobee had some that require a purchase, but was incredibly easy.

I’d say the purchase required ones are usually easiest.
