Shop rejected with no real explanation.

I did a shop for IPSOS for a tablet. I got an e-mail this morning my shop was rejected for being "inaccurate" Never told what was inaccurate, or even a chance to correct it. Have you had this happened with a shop? Can this be reversed? I did e-mail them back asking for an explanation. No reply yet.

I've never had this happen. Did you email the scheduler or just sent to the generic ipsos mailbox? Being they are a larger company, I'm not real sure they care to explain. Keep us posted on what the reason is, if you get one.
I answered from my shop on IPSOS and from the e-mail. There wasn't even a scheduler name on the e-mail.
I wasn’t paid for an IPSOS shop I did mid April. I sent an email asking about it. I got a reply saying the shop was excluded because I was asked to make changes to the shop and I did not. I never got an email from anyone about the shop. I just replied to let them know I didn’t get a message. We’ll see what happens. I’ve done a lot of the same shop before and never had a problem. This was the first shop I’ve done since the pandemic. Nice welcome back.
I have a shop still "awaiting review" from mid april. I'm about to start stomping my feet.
I did a checking account inquiry shop for IPSOS on their Shopmetrics platform (ishopforipsos.com) over 2 years ago. It and I received an email from the scheduler asking me to attach additional images of documents that the banker had given me. This was my first shop in that platform and I did not know that I was supposed to go back to the report and do these things. I attached the requested images to my response and emailed them. She responded with a 'thank you very much'. The next thing I know is that my report is not accepted and my shop is cancelled because I did not respond in a timely manner! I was so upset that I had wasted all that time. I emailed the scheduler, and she responded with something like, 'oh, I thought you knew that you were supposed to go back to the report.' Well, no, I did not know it and the way she asked for additional information did not make it clear. She should have asked me to go back to the report and not assume that I was a mind reader. That particular scheduler always seemed distracted in her responses in all the subsequent shops I did for her. Aside from that, I like doing shops for Ipsos - they pay faster than anyone else, and I've never been denied payment after this incident.

I have not gotten a response on why my shop was not accepted. I also see the no one put their name or e-mail address on the e-mail.
I still have a shop in pending review from 2015 think I get paid lmfao

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
Interesting discussion. I had started back shopping last summer after a hiatus, and never had a lot of dealings with Ipsos. Well, lately, I did 20 some odd in a short time. I was happy for the work, but had odd experiences that sent me looking for feedback on the reputation of the company with shoppers. For one issue, the pay was missing for one of the shops during one of the specified time periods. I still haven't got that one reconciled. Then I get an email about a shop being excluded because I didn't update it as requested, the thing is, I could swear that I did. I even have the updated photo. There were like 20 shops all the same, so by #18, you'd think I had the hang of it all. Evidently, some of the editors thought the required screenshots should be one thing, and others something else, so I had most all accepted with a 10 and a couple that needed updates, even though they were the exact same thing, albeit with different shops. I updated the ones that requested changes though.

Then, I get the note on the one that was rejected because they said that I didn't update it in a timely manner, well actually, I did, or I thought I did, but maybe I just forgot to click update after I made the necessary change on the requested screen shot. Make note to self to double check such, and include the updates in my shopper log. I have also explained time zone differences to their editors, and to others that the phone recording system starts recording when you connect to the target, not when you dial, so sometimes there may be a minute or two difference showing on the connect time and your call log. That can really be interesting when the time zones are different, but it is a reality of phone shops and recording systems, and I am seeing dings for being inaccurate because of the time the recording system starts and the time showing on my phone call log, which is the actual start time.

I had a flat dozen files in my folder for the shop that was rejected, and this was not a big dollar shop. There is absolutely no doubt I did my due diligence on that one. Although it could be that I am just getting used to the way they do things, it seems to be all over the map, one of those, everything is fine until it isn't or you hit an anomalous situation on a shop. When you figure in inconsistent requirements by and likely training of the editors, and questions on the accounting, I am still pondering whether Ipsos is worth the effort.

For IPSOS, when you update a shop, e-mail the scheduler from the e-mail they sent you. Their e-mail address is on the e-mail they sent you. Do not just reply from that e-mail. Look for their e-mail address in the e-mail.
