Is Market Force responding to You?

In the last 3-4 days, I put in increased pay offers on two green-leaf job postings. Neither one was addressed. I did not get a rejection notification or approval. My offer just sat out there until time ran out at midnight. Very unusual from my past experiences. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Rememer that MF doesn't send rejection notices -- if you can find the job posting again (and that's IF, not WHEN), you can see if they rejected it. In my experience, if they don't notify you quickly, i.e. within a few hours, that you've got the assignment, then you likely won't get it -- although others may have different experiences.

I put in three MAOs today. One was rejected quickly, which I saw when I went back to the job listing. For another, now I can't find the job listing, so I'm assuming it was assigned elsewhere (although it would be weird, because it's an unpopular job during an unpopular time period). For the third, I was scheduled for the assignment within an hour.

Happens to me all of the time. Sometimes it helps to email them.

For what it is worth, I e-mailed the helpdesk on a wholly different issue - a question about a shop which I was considering - and received a response which answered my question fully in six hours, six minutes. Not bad considering that most folk in North America were sleeping for most if not all of those six hours.

I agree that it would be helpful if MF were to send e-mails when offers are rejected. The programming and band width required to do so would be minimal.

I've always been impressed that MF Help Desk always seems to help me. I usually do not do the MAO stuff but they are great to get back to me on other matters.

Write the Help Desk! If it is still there, they more than likely overlooked it. I had that happen to me a few times this year and each time they apologized and placed it at the MAO amount on my account.

Market force does not send notices that they did not accept your offer. You can go back and check on my job board, If the job is still there it'll say that your offer was rejected, But you won't get an email or a phone call or any other kind of notification from market force. The only notification that you will get will be the help desk notification that you have been assigned the job.
