Intouch Insight - Be aware of their "ANY" shops

There were two jobs on ISS platform that said XX any. One was for pickup and the other was for delivery. Not once was company XX mentioned in the directions. They had screenshots of Panera and McD apps in the directions.

First, I did the pick-up and got approved. Then I did the delivery, and it was declined. When I contacted the company, they now declined the pick-up job.

The jobs said they could be done anywhere within a few states. How can you get food delivered to your house from 500 miles away?

Stay away from these jobs.

The way I read it is that you can shop any XXX food company outlet to have food delivered. I would just assume that you would have to live in the delivery area of that XXX food company outlet.

In other words, it can be an XXX in Buffalo, or Long Island as long as it is an XXX food outlet and you lived in their delivery area.
I saw these on the platform as well. One was a National Root Beer company and the other a service station convenience store. I checked all my delivery platforms and none of them delivered for either shop so I did not bother applying.
Those shops have confusing paperwork! My paperwork had 3 different third party vendors to use. They even had a question in the questionnaire that listed those vendors. They declined it, because they wanted me to order from ANOTHER vendor. Seriously, they need to redo the questionnaire and guidelines.

My point was the order of the words. If it would have been written as you said you read it, any XXX, it would have been clear.

I have done jobs for many companies just looking for data about delivery/pick-up apps that said any and truly meant any.

When it says it can be done anywhere in the state, it reads like phone or internet shops that can be done anywhere. It is about the specific words used as well as the ones not used.

There was no mention of the company in the directions. The company now says the directions attached are just generic directions for that type of job, not for that specific job.

Someone who doesn't live anyone near company XX won't know that it is a convivence store. I've never heard of XX. I've never seen XX. I actually thought XX was another delivery app.

So you ordered delivery from the convivence store and got denied?

The convenience store in my area actually showed their logo in the offered shop. When I Googled the nearest one to me it was 6.7 miles, but travel time would have been longer and I didn't believe they would deliver to me so I ignored the shops.

I've been doing Intouch Insight shops on the ISS platform for a regional company a lot recently. I have found them to be very responsive to any questions I've had. Have you tried contacting them?

I didn’t order from the convenience store. The way the shop was promoted to me was to use Uber Eats, Door Dash, or another vendor. I never heard of the store. I used Uber Eats and it was declined. I would have never signed up if I knew they wanted me to evaluate a convenience store vendor. Not mad though, because the food was yummy at Uber Eats, but they need better guidelines and clarity when promoting these shops.
After I contacted them, I found out there were two different ones. One said, "Get a Meal at XX" and the other said "XX (any)." Being the closest one to me is 250 miles away, the first one doesn't show up on my job board, but the "any" does.

If you don't live in an area with XX, you wouldn't recognize the logo. Would you know what Waitr or Roadrunner are? They are delivery services in Louisiana. So, it isn't unrealistic the way the job was listed along with the generic directions to infer that XX was another delivery service.

Thank you!!!!

The company insisted there was nothing wrong with their directions and I was the only one who made the mistake.

That is so interesting, and adds to the confusion. "Roadrunner" is also the name of a regional convenience store chain (with locations at "big yellow scallop" gas stations in Arkansas).
That is kind of my point. The company was expecting everyone to know who the company was and what they did with generic instructions attached to the shop.

We have Kangaroos. What is it with the animals, lol?

I was going through and updating my spreadsheets of all the jobs / pay / expenses, etc. that I had done. I came across a job that was done that paid $4 for a short survey if you were already getting food delivered. I was thinking about this job when I accepted the ones that were rejected. Come to find out, Intouch was the company that did those jobs too, so they know there are jobs out there that mean ANY when they say ANY.
I am having trouble understanding this entire thread. Maybe it is because I have not seen these shops. Jasper in the original post it says you did a pick up shop and it was later rejected. Did you drive 250 miles to another state to pick something up? Why was that job rejected?
There were 2 jobs, a pickup and a delivery. They both said anywhere in the state and in the title, it was XX any, but the company meant any XX. I was unaware that XX was a convivence store because they aren't anywhere near where I live.

The way the instructions were written it looked like you could order food from anyone that had an app and have it delivered because of the wording. The instructions contained several photos of restaurants like Panera and McD. Why would they have photos of Panera if they wanted you to order from XX?

I did the pickup one first at a local restaurant. It was approved. I then did the delivery the same way from another local restaurant. It was rejected. When I questioned the rejected shop, Intouch went back and denied the pickup.
