[Do you mean the postcard that came with swag or was there another one?

I got no mail at all today. Friday isn’t a big mail day. The carrier blew past my house doing 40 (at least) on my 30 mph road (dead end, single lane).
How many gas station audits have you done? I didn't get it. I've done I am sure well over 50 within just the past 2 weeks, that's both shop metrics and sassie together. My husband and I been traveling all over between 3 different states for this gas station audits with the decent size bonus.

If you mean a letter separate from the postcard with the pen, vest, and lanyard, did you also receive the swag?
Maybe they’re out of vests etc, so now it’s just a letter?
I received the postcard and I also received the pen, lanyard, and safety vest with their name on the back. Of course, only a moronic moron idiot would actually wear it while they were working. Why would anyone want to advertise their job to someone else so they can take it from them? Please don't be a moronic moron idiot. Please don't wear the safety vest!. I've been using it as a cleaning rag. It doesn't work very well, but it makes me feel better.
I covered the logo with duct tape leaving only that big handbag showing. If I ever use it (highly doubtful) I would just claim to be a big fan of Golden Girls, Sophia being my favorite character, and stenciled her ever-present pocketbook on my vest. That's what it looks like.
As I read this thread, all I can do is laugh and laugh - grinning smiley

Why did I not get one? I did 6 shops for them month before last!
I believe they love shoppers who do a wide variety of clients and perform them at the base fee, not waiting for a bonus to be attached.
I keep a shopping bag by my closet door for Goodwill donations; all that crap “swag” went straight in within 60 seconds of receiving it. I was actually ticked off about the amount of plastic junk (I’m an environmental wacko) and deliberately chose to do another company’s assignments for a week or so as a silent protest.
They are doing everything they can to try to find new shoppers, and trying to do anything but pay more to try to get current shoppers to do more shops for less money. Most smart shoppers see right through it. It is nice to be thanked for one's hard work, but the best way to say thank you is with $. Sending out all this stuff while aggressively attempting to cut pay in the middle of the biggest inflationary period since the 1970's is a huge slap in the face. Honestly, if they would have sent me a check for $10, which I estimate would be around the cost of the items they sent plus shipping, I would have been much more likely to truly feel appreciated. This was a slap in the face and an insult to my intelligence.
The swag does tend to make one feel like a young child getting a Happy Meal prize or a trinket at an arcade, but I appreciate the note of appreciation.
I was doing over two hundred a month in 2021. In 2022 I did the month of March I did 150 but I have not been lucky enough to pick up any large routes. I blame this on Ipsos for not giving the Independence schedulers the will or room to negotiate large routes. It was nicer when you could get to the PM and let them decide them else.

I got the swag and I’ve done over 1000 gas station audits over the last 2 years. I do an average of 30-60 per month. End of year and end of quarter I could do over 100. I can average 10-15 a day if I work hard and the drive between is shorter. I do all brands. I never do them at base and usually make a route for 3-5 days twice a month. I like them and I move through them pretty quick. I try and average $30 per station but that goes up and down depending on how many people take them at base. I carry extra gas cans and bring those home to use during times I’m not shopping or if my husband or daughter needs gas. I appreciate the gesture, but I won’t wear that vest or lanyard. I like the vests I currently use which are orange. A bonus would have been a nicer gesture in my opinion, but the swag is a write off so I get it. These can be profitable if you are good at routing, time management and negotiation.

I now have twelve (12!!!) 5-gallon gas cans stored in my shed. My car and my husband’s GMC truck are always topped off these days.

On Fridays a local church has a drive-through food bank, so I haul my cans up there and the workers give a few people a full tank (courtesy of my work for IPSOS.) Then the pastor brings me the cans back, and I start all over again. I’ve heard from the church that everyone who receives gas in the line is incredibly grateful; many arrive there with tanks on “E.”
Nope. I must not be one of their top shoppers, lol!

Shopping domestic and international locations since 2003.
That's ok @pambam! We will start our own club with trinkets and all. "The bottom oil and gas mystery shoppers".... er, maybe you should come up with the name smiling smiley

A Note Of Caution:

I *do* want to warn you, so you don’t make the same mistake I did with rushing around to gas stations: BE CAREFUL WITH GAS VAPORS in your auto!! I have two 5-gallon cans with safety vents that release vapor buildup.

It was 98F, and I was in my car filling out reports on-site. I had windows up, A/C on. Started getting VERY sleepy. VERY. SLEEPY.

The hot sun had warmed up the ten gallons of gas in the rear of my car, and the vapors were intense! I hadn’t noticed it, because I was working on my tablet and it happened slowly over time. .

I ended up opening all windows and sunroof, covering the cans with a blanket, made it home OK. Boy did it give me a terrible headache for the next 24 hours!
