do I get notified when my evaluation is accepted?

Hi, I had my first MS experience for Coyle and submitted it. Will I receive a notification that my evaluation was accepted? I looked all over the website for information, but couldn't find any (other than details on payment). I would email support but I don't want to bother them. Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome.

I'll let the experienced Coyle shoppers answer the specific question for you but one thing that has changed in the 15 years I've been doing this that is very noticeable is that the old "accepted" e-mail I used to hold my breath and wait for seldom comes from the MSC any longer.

I'm not sure about their software but sometimes you can check the status of the report. It will go from "review" to "pending" or "accepted" or "mark up" or whatever the nomenclature is.

Welcome again and happy shopping.
InTouch Insite shops done on the ISecretShop platform will give you a submitted and approved e-mail. I'm really starting to like working with this company.

Coyle will give you a very detailed analysis of your report grading everything including the kitchen sink. I've found the rather difficult to decipher. And they'll give you a rolling grading on all your accumulated reports.
I have never done a shop on the ISS platform because of the fees offered in my area. Is this one of the platforms where you need to do a few shops to 'get a foot in the door' before other shops start to appear (or just wishful thinking on my part...)?

Sometimes.

Other times they just pay and don't sent anything back to you. It's Coyle. They do their own thing.
Sorry, but I don't like Coyle. They're the hardest company to deal with of all. It's not worth it to have a nice dinner out, and then type for hours and hours, and back-and-forth with the editor, before the shop gets approved. I'd rather just pay for dinner myself. You'll see soon enough...
I did my first 2 Coyle restaurant shops this weekend and they were intense! I still don't know if they will be approved. Hopefully, they will be so I don't have to "deal" with the company!

I'm not sure about the foot in the door bit, but I do know you accumulate badges and points for each completed shop. The more points you get the more shops you can self assign.

The fees for InTouch Insite haven't been the best, but I've been doing shops where I'm either already at the location or passing by.

I did a fine dining shop that I used to do for Customer Impact. With CI it used to take me about an hour to write the report and it required timing every transaction, drinks, ordering, appetizer, etc etc. With ISS I was able to complete 50% of the shop before we finished our meal. Easy yes or no, who's your server, hostess and no timings. Had a fantastic dinner for two with lamb tenderloin and duck breast and drinks. After tax and tips it cost me $2. $175 reimbursement and $5 shop fee but I consider that a win.

For the bar shops I've been doing, it's $5 fee and $45 reimbursement. But if I'm going to the bar anyway, I get 4 top shelf drinks for free and can complete 85% of the report in the app while I'm doing the shop.

They pay within 2 weeks.

When do they usually send the detailed analysis after you submit the evaluation?

When it's approved.
