Pinnacle's bank shop reports

Hi All - I haven't done a shop for them since they were proreview - so probably 10 years ago?
They have some nicely bonused bank shops by me. Some are account opening, others are inquiries. Are their reports grueling or not too bad?
Thanks!

I just did an inquiry shop last week. I will definitely do one again.

I've done the account opening shops in the past. Because of some mix-up with the IRS sending them a letter, they say I owe them $100 in document prep fees for what they had to do to respond to the IRS. Otherwise I would do them again. I should have closed the account but I didn't. IRS never sent my regular bank anything.

Once you set up the account, you can cancel it within 2 weeks I believe. The reports are straight forward. They do require a blow by blow accounting of the visit at the end of the report. I'd say maximum 30 minutes in bank and about 45-60 minutes tops on the report, perhaps less.

Very straight forward, nothing tricky and there is usually no wait to see a banker.

I've done a few shops with them. I also opened two accounts and closed one. Everything went real smooth, and no problems with either. I actually liked the accounts I opened for them better than my old faithful, so I kept one of them open. My only complaint about them is that they don't have more shops in my area. I loved working for them. The money is real good in comparison to a lot of the other MSCs, but you can only open so many accounts at the same bank.

Joanna,

You are probably correct on the time frame for ProReview, as I also was shopping their locations. As to now, this summer I completed one account opening; it paid $130. For inquiries, one paid $60 and I have one for this Thurs. @ $50. Last month, a shopper stated the reports were easy. I do not in the slightest struggle with narrative, but, in my opinion, they are definitely not easy. Worth the fees I have been paid, but not easy.
Hold out for the best bucks, though. There's a ONE YEAR rotation for each location. So if you do a small fee shop, you can't do that same location again for a year - not even a different scenario.
I did 3 inquiry shops in one day, the narratives were a little tough. If it had just been 1 or 2 shops it would have been OK, but that 3rd one really threw me for a loop and I had a headache for a couple of days. I'm apparently still feeling the after effects of the old Ardent MSC narratives, and the extreme brain fog they caused. I thought I would have recovered by now, but apparently not... lol

I just visited a location yesterday to inquire about an account. I was caught off guard when I entered the info, the reports asks for exact quotes of the greeting and exit comments. So beware.

Several years ago I opened two accounts. I closed one account after the requisite time. When I open my statement online today, it still shows that I have a closed account. Thus, I have been afraid to open another account since.
