Satisfaction Services NON-PAYMENT

How do you propose finding all the shoppers who do work for her? There have been estimates of the percentage of all shoppers who are on this Forum, and it has never been very high. If all of the shoppers who work for her are 10,000 (not unlikely), and 1,000 are on this forum, that still leaves her 9,000 shoppers. Have you tried to find out how many shoppers who work for her are on this forum?

I just checked, and only 3068 forum members admit to working for MF. [edited to correct the following number} 190 admit to working for Satisfaction Services. IPSOS, which is widely discussed has 646 forum members who say they are registered with IPSOS.

If this was certified as a class action suit, then you might be able to have the court send an email or letter to every member of her shopper database (that is how it works for large class action suits with stocks and other securities; also, the costs of sending out those emails and tracking the responses would have to get paid by the law firm long before any possible future settlement, before a penny goes to the actual shoppers). In order to get an attorney interested, you will have to provide an estimate of the total amount owed to the proposed class. Do you think she owes the class a million dollars? If you say you don't know, then you should probably give up now. If you say it is $10 million dollars and have a very solid way of arriving at that estimate, you might get an attorney to work on contingency.

I still suggest that your best course of action is to the Small Claims Court. Grevell, where are you located? If you are in Maine (for instance), file suit there. She will have to hire a lawyer licensed to practice in Maine to appear in court. She probably won't, and you will get a default judgment against her. Or she will decide that the money she owes you is less than the cost of the attorney admitted to the bar in Maine. Even if you are in Tennessee like her, the cost of an attorney would likely exceed what she owes you. Be greedy. Strike where the iron is hot = Small Claims Court.

Mickie has not paid any one who has done her shops since last June. She will tell you a sob story, which is false. If we ban together and don't work for her maybe she will get the hint. I have written her and told her that I may file a class action suit against her company.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008

I have done all those things (calling and texting personal#, calling the other person Jon Kasman). Even copied one of the schedulers who is still asking me to complete shops. This is very disappointing to hear that it seems to be a trend of non-payment.
I have the same problem. Emailing Mickie without any response for payment status on a job performed in October 2022. I called her number and the voicemail box is full. Shoppers beware!

Any company still mailing checks should be a red flag. I would watch the few that do closely and not do too much work at any one time for them. The current ones that still mail checks that I know of are Secret Shopper, Sinclair Customer Metrics, and A Closer Look. Seriously folks get with the times.

New shopper here. I've done 2 with ACL - the 1st was "fast--pay" and the money came to my PayPal within days. I"m assuming the next one - will also be PayPal when the time comes?
OMG. I am waiting for a check for a shop from Nov. 28, 2022 and I did another shop just after Christmas. I just found this website.
What if everyone started to contact the restaurants? Tell them what a scumbag they hired? Maybe the GMs will refund our dinner checks?
Call Jon Kasman, Managing Partner
Phone: 866-496-2295 - Toll Free
Tell him (voicemail) that you will call the owners of the restaurant where you did your review and tell him what happened. I doubt he would like to know that the reputation of his business is being shared with his clients.

ACL fast pay is done via paypal but other non-fast pay shops are paid by mailed check. If they can pay some shops by paypal they should pay all by paypal. Secret shopper has started to implement direct deposit for some shoppers who got an invite to do so. I have yet to get my invite but will happily switch to direct deposit when offered. As for Satisfaction services based on recent threads here it looks like they have gone bad and are not paying shoppers. Surprisingly I have done a fair bit of work for secret shopper lately.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I got the exact same response. I did tons of shops for them without an issue. It all started in May of 2022. I did 3 shops and never got paid. I thought it was because I moved in the summer. Mickie told me she did a replacement check that I never got. I try to email her weekly to see when I can be expecting my check. Hard to believe a managing partner acts this way. Anyway, I didn't know everyone else was having problems.
Geez. Anyone who has a problem with receiving a check, there is a simple thing you can do. Just sign the back of it, PM me for my maiking address and send it to me. I'll gladly mail you a stamp and an empty envelope in exchange.

I don't understand your post...the reason I barely ever look for information or help on these boards.
I agree that the best course of action for individual shoppers is to file in small claims court or magistrate's court or whatever it's called in your state. myst4au is correct in that she likely won't show up, and you'll get a default judgement in your favor. However, it's not necessarily true that there's nothing you can do to collect if the defendant doesn't pay willingly. We had a case against our moving company, worth enough $$ to hire an attorney, and I asked that same question. He said that you can contact the sheriff's office, showing them the court's judgement, and they will go to the defendant's place of business or home and literally start seizing assets to be sold to satisfy the judgement. That's in Pennsylvania; not sure about other states, although I think it's the same in New York.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
Secret Shopper is changing their ways and now pay via ACH. As per usual, they make it difficult to start. I was pretty upset with a relative who stuffed one of my checks in her purse and forgot to give it to me. I only found out it was in her purse 2 months after I had already requested a replacement check which cost $15 to replace at $30 check!!

Moving forward I will ensure that the proper measures are put in place to avoid this in the future. I have attached the tracking information for your replacement payment. Again, I am truly sorry for the delay. SSI’s evaluators are always paid, even when clients have not paid in the past.

This is such BS My check from late November never arrived, nor did my check from Christmas week. I've already called the manager from the November restaurant. Now I'm sending letters with receipts to both owners. Let them know what scumbags they are entrusting their business information.

And how do you think this is going to help you? The manager will see you as a crazy person.
I too have been scammed by this company after shopping with them since 2009. 2 fast food shops with $17+ bonuses added, and I haven't been paid for my January or March shops... approx $50. Never again. STAY AWAY!
It took me 6 months but I was finally paid. I think she had some health issues.
That is amazing, Kate. In these modern times, the people should be aware of these facts. Thank you for your perspicacious saga.
Class action suits only make money for the lawyers. They don't really result in much else.
I emailed her a month ago. She JUST replied and typed up/attached a fake, pre-dated email below today's email to make it look like she responded to me before. It had no meta data and was FAKE...... SO obvious. She now claims she'll pay me through Zelle. Right. Here was part of her latest bogus sob story. Funny, I thought she was in sunny Ft Lauderdale, FL...not TN?! I have friends and my father who live in various parts of TN, and their mail reaches me FINE! And Im owed for TWO shops, not just one. Never again.

" I have had issues with the mail for some evaluators. Checks arriving weeks/months later from the USPS post date. Not all, but too many lately. I had an evaluator contact me last week who received a November dated check a week ago. They had received replacement payment since, but the original check finally showed up. Over the past two months we have had terrible wind storms that take out the power/internet, trees down everywhere, etc. here in TN. The most recent were due to the F4 Tornados that leveled towns in Mississippi and Alabama. You performed an assignment in +++++++++ and the payment was processed and mailed a few weeks back..... "

I guess that's progress that you've gotten a response. Unfortunately, I'm still owed for shops completed from May 2022 and June 2022. I've sent dozens of emails and texts. Last response I got was in Dec. At this point I've given up. The excuses seem to be bountiful. Keep us posted if you actually get payment.
I also contacted Jon Kasman, listed as the company CEO. His bogus response:
"Thank you for your message. My office in Houston is franchise of the home office in Florida. Unfortunately, we manage all of our clients and evaluators separately, so I do not have any access to the Florida office financial. payment systems, etc. We only share the website and database.

I will continue to forward messages like this to Mickie, and hopefully, she will confirm receipt and take care of these issues."

***A franchise???? What a load of *** ????????

Several years ago, they decided tat they no longer wanted me to shop for them. Guess I was one of the lucky ones.
I'm constantly getting emails from Satisfaction asking to do a low paying steakhouse. Their "bonus" is a joke too. Now that I'm reading these posts I may be done with them completely.
