What companies have new and exciting (and profitable) shops?

What companies have new and exciting (and profitable) shops?

I've been overseas for a year and will fly back in a week! Have been signing up for shops in advance but I can't believe it's still just burgers and mattresses with some companies. What companies have some great new clients? (just mention the companies, not the clients)

Shopping domestic and international locations since 2003.

Sorry I can't really answer your question, though -- I'm in a rural area and have found myself working for merely half a dozen companies the last 2 years. Intelli-Shop, Marketforce, IPSOS, SeeLevelHx. You'll find there's been lots of changes (for example, Maritz is now something else, maybe IPSOS, SeeLevel is now an intouch-insight company.

Asking for new and exciting shops. That's almost as silly as when schedulers advertise shops as "fun." Shopping is neither exciting or fun - and MS assignments certainly are not (beyond the very rare well-bonused assignment.)

One thing I have always enjoyed about mystery shopping is that when new things come into being, we are among the first to get a taste. Ghost kitchens are now a thing, and they deliver. They are creeping their way across the country. Although not quite as glamorous as the initial thought, it has been fun checking them out, and mystery shoppers have indeed been among the first to get a taste. That is probably the latest and newest on the restaurant mystery shopping scene here. They should pop up if you are signed up with the companies that ceasesmith mentioned.

Sadly, I feel like there's not much out there that's new or exciting. If you're near a place with legal weed, I've seen some dispensary shops. The shop report itself might not be fun, but the product you get could be

A ghost kitchen is kind of like kitchen space sharing. Basically, they use an existing restaurant to create an online and delivery only "virtual" restaurant. An example I saw was for a restaurant called Thrilled Cheese. They don't have an actual storefront or location because they're using another restaurant's kitchen like a Denny's or Ihop.

Thanks, all. I get @Rousseau's point but I still remember those Mario Tricoci shops that not only were self-assign, we could choose two services; hair cut and color at one, mani pedi at a second and facial and body polish at a third. Those days are apparently over but we can dream.

Last night I went to the theater wearing my wool mystery shopped reimbursed jacket and my wool mystery shopped sweater. Two pieces of clothing with a retail value of over $1000. I have not seen shops like that for years. I have done two different ghost kitchen shops and found them to be lacking in quantity and taste. In addition so many NO answers it took a long time to fill in the report. Bring back the old days when the rare run of the mill mid range restaurant shop or other fabulous shop is not snatched up before I awaken in the morning!

Joanna81 gave a great answer. Also, here in New York City, some ghost kitchens were purposefully designed and built as such, with no pre-existing restaurant. Those started about a year or so before covid hit, so they were ready to spring into action when called to duty. Out-of-the-way locations, boring design. No tables--pick-up and delivery only. No wait staff, but a lot of cooks--and they may be preparing foods for as many as ten to fifteen different restaurant brands (which is where our skills as shoppers are valued). Some of them even prepare school meals, Meals on Wheels, and some do catering.

The two ghost kitchens out of IHop have similar food Both are grilled cheese, one has grilled cheese on bread, the other has grilled cheese on tortillas aka quesadillas. The sides and desserts are the same. They have different restaurant names.

Male prostitution - I can't speak to the legalities but being a male stripper is legal. And, if you have a lifetime of no athletics, and lots of fast food - and getting fat and , uh, are not working with much in the looks department......the money these women will pay for you to put your clothes back ON.....and the passion with which they beg you to do it - nothing but pure consistent profit. It's like when a good looking professional woman, throws a $100 bill and says "for god sake put your shirt back on"....you smile and think "look Mom, your little boy made it"

We really liked the Thrilled Cheese food, but not the Dilly (whatever its name is) one. Maybe we just got a bad cook that night. I'd do the first one again, but not the other. They hung around for awhile last month, but I wasn't doing much shopping then so passed on them. Hope to see them next month.
