ACL Checks Error

I received my check from A Closer Look and attempted to deposit it. It is still pending. I just logged into ACL and found this message: URGENT – PLEASE READ: Unfortunately, our check issuing company experienced an error when printing and sending November disbursements (issued on 12/27/2022). The checks were sent with no logo or signature and you may not be able to deposit it. We recommend disposing of this check as a new check is being expedited. Please do not attempt to deposit both checks as you may incur bank fees. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

I am not sure why they did not email shoppers. Im sure most people do not check the portal before attempting to deposit a check.

Thanks, I hadn't noticed it. Yup...no signature. Yikes here we go with another MSC screwing up their payroll. What is going on? This is a shop from early November..Geessh come on now. And it's for a location I will never do again. Although I love to eat there on my own, the report was too much for the $$. And now 2 months later.

Just now got an email from AC about this SNAFU. It would have been nice if they sent this out yesterday.

My mobile deposit also went through fine.

I didn't even catch it either. My mobile deposit was accepted also. However I'll keep the extra check just in case they try to charge back on the original.

AND they were late sending the checks ugh

Has anyone received the second check? I have not.

I have not received the second check, but the first one was eventually accepted by my bank.

I received the first check, and did not deposit it because of their email. I have not received the second check.

My second check came today. I live in Georgia, not far from their offices. I didn't deposit it because my first one cleared.

I am going to wait a few more days and if I haven't received a replacement check, I will deposit the original.

I was excited when I saw fast pay on a few shops and then I remembered the way ACL submits their Paypal, a fee is charged and taken out of the payment. I prefer direct deposit overall, but hey, what can you do?

My replacement came today. I am in the midwest.

No replacement check today for me.

I got my second check today. The first one still seems to have been accepted, so I'll just keep this one in case the first one is rejected at some point in the future.
