CX Group

I don't mind Second To None changing but I am wary that BestMark and Second To None are listed as members of CX Group.

"Through an adaptive network of member companies and strategic partners, CX Group clients benefit from the unique strengths of individual boutique CX research firms, while leveraging the exponential advantage that arises through expertise at scale, backed by vertically-integrated solution design and execution."

Looks like a bunch of corporate gobbledigoop. Lots of words that mean nearly nothing that you couldn't say simply with 3 words.
I think I understand the concept but, yeah. I am surprised they didn't throw "synergy" and "best practice" into the mix.
When I saw the message that STN was "expanding" into CX Group, I decided to take a look at the CX Group website. I can't say I have ever seen a site that almost comes across as pretentious. I wonder how their clients read this without rolling their eyes. And will this filter down to us shoppers? Can you imagine shop instructions written in this style?
The way I interpret their website so far:

CX Group will have different members and affiliates over time. Each company within the group is independent and shop guidelines will probably be very similar to what each company has been offering before this. The main difference, I think, is different members and affiliates may work together on different projects. If MSC #1 and MSC #2 work together on Project A, the MSC that has more expertise/experience on that type of project will probably have a larger role in shaping the shop guidelines.
:-) I went and checked out their website; I'm not sure what they do but they seem to be very impressed with themselves.
I don't mind swagger if there's something to back it up.

That explains why Trendsource was directing shoppers to another company, STN, when the grocery jobs shifted. A few shoppers commented in a thread they were impressed by Trendsource for their kind position.
Neither Trendsource nor Second-to-None have more than an occasional opportunity in my area, so I only do work for them every now and then. I did not receive any notification about this change. I wonder if/how it will affect me.

Exactly. A bunch of business trend-speak that they think sounds important, but that really just sounds stupid.

I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I didn't know this was happening; was there an email sent out? I get a lot of offers from CXG for their high-end shops, but they're too far away to make them worth it for the fees. I've never done a shop for them. They remind me of ISC in the types of shops they do. I do quite a bit for STN and hope this doesn't end up being a negative.

Birdy, CX Group is not CXG. The announcement is on STN's Dashboard. If there was an email, I didn't get it either.

Oh, I thought it was; how confusing! Sometimes names are so similar, I get confused.... There were two (I can't remember which) that I never could get straight.

I'll have to look on the STN site. Thanks!

Hey there, BusyBee, Hmm. I googled CX Group, and the result was The CX Group in South Africa. Pretty sure that's not CX Group mentioned on STN's site. It's my understanding that after purchasing Bestmark, the owner of STN formed CX Group. My guess would be it's to streamline operations.
Hey, Mert. Thanks! I haven't worked for Bestmark in years and didn't even know it changed hands. CX Group makes a lot more sense now and I guess I don't have to be wary about late payments. grinning smiley

The website I found was [www.cxgroup.com].

I'm a little confused as to how Trendsource is related to this. Apparently Bestmark and Second to None are the two "members" of CX Group.
I did a shop in Feb from 2TN with no problems..

I received the email a couple of days ago (March 12 or so) that they will be changing names.

I received payment from my Feb shop on March 15.
Did anyone else's login for the Hub stop working yesterday?

I was able to log on to the new Hub after the name change on 3/15 but could not on 3/16. I ended up changing my password.

TIA
I sign in this morning with the same ID and password with no problems..

The only thing I had to do was sign the new shopper agreement

Exactly the same for me.
Interesting. I am signed up for STN but never received communication from them. I tried to sign in this morning and it took me directly to CX group with a link to an explanation of the change. My password manager had a different password than I had assigned my self and it worked to open the site. That was weird.
Right now only the leftovers for March requiring a child to come along. Thanks for this thread or I would never have known what was up.

CX Group is simply the name of the company comprised of BestMark and Second to None merging.
