Person To Person

any feedback on this company. I am new to mystery shopping and have been looking at jobs offered by this company and am hoping they are honest.

I completed a Medicare assignment for this MSC, for which I was paid $55 and mileage. Later that year, a second MSC offered an identical shop, at the same location and with the agent for $30 and no mileage. Based upon that experience, I wouldn't hesitate to grab any shop I'm offered by Person To Person.
I saw a Medicare job on their board which was taken already....not sure if i am quite ready for such a big job....still new at this lol
They are a nice company to work with. You can self-assign. If you do the shop correctly, you never hear from them. My favorite kind of company.
They specialize in automobile shops in the MD area. There reports are reasonable but you are required to go through the entire process at the dealership. Manditory test drive, having your vehicle appraised and discussing financing. That equates to a lot of time at the dealership. I did one weeks ago and I am still getting emails and calls from the dealership.

If you have the time then go for it. They pay good and give mileage reimbursement.
I like this company. They pay good. Jobs go quickly, so you have to stay on top of the site. I have done numerous Bank type jobs and they are easy jobs. They pay $16 for a job with little paperwork, where I get $7 for a job for a fast food restaurant that I have to lay out money for and the paperwork is much longer. Definitely worth signing up for in my book.
Good company not much work in my area, but when they post I grab them. Self assign and never get any negative feedback from them.
Can someone kindly tell me the pay schedule for Person to Person? I'm new to their company and did my first car shops for them a while back. Thank you!
I found their payment dates. Seem like GREAT company. But like Carol57 said on another post - the car dealerships email & call you back FOREVER!!! OH WELL, PAY IS GREAT, QUESTIONS ARE EASY!
kim you could have shared those dates. It is called sharing.

Here they are anyway. C. Payment Dates: As a matter of course, Person to Person Quality pays shoppers in the last week of the month following the month in which the assignment was complete.

It is ironic that all of them require details to the nth degree, but most make it very difficult to find that information. Sometime I wonder if they are hiding something or not.

For shops where you must provide a real phone number, take some time to sign up for Google Voice and use it. It's a free service. You can give your GV number(s) out, and tell Google to send them all to voicemail. You'll receive e-mail notification of their voicemails, transcribed in what are sometimes hysterical approximations of what was actually spoken. smiling smiley

I have done 2 shop for themboth telephone shops for AARP. One was a MediCare and the other a car rental both were easy and the forms not bad.
I just did 1 shops for them. Both were telephone shops the first was a AARP Medicare the second was anAARP car rental. they were easy shops the forms not to long. I hope to get more from this MSC.
I like phone shops. You don't have to describe the person in detail. There was a weird sports shoe shop I did. They wanted to know everything about the 'associate', but in report they wanted gender-name neutral narrative. That was a report from hell. There were 50 or so questions. It was required to write narrative for every question with Q#s in front. e.g. Q6: The associate was well groomed. Q11: The aisle were free of clutter.
plbell,
Please remove the name of the client from your posts. It is a violation of both your ICA and Jacob's rules for his forums.

"It is a violation of both your ICA"

Enough with this myth....let us not perpetuate it.
anakin,
This is not a myth. We are guests of Jacob J here, and it is also his requirement that we not name the client and the MSC in the same thread. AND, your MSC does require that you not reveal any details of your assignments, including the client name.
