Anyone do any of the audit shops for Trendsource? They seem to want you to make several phone calls during the course of the audit and take pictures too.

That would be Business Verifications/Site Visits, it sounds like. Easy shops, but you have to be very flexible with your time ... a luxury I no longer have due to Full Time employment. So I can no longer do them.

I did a photo audit of a FF (chicken) and an audit with a checklist and no photos at another FF (burrito joint) last weekend. Neither took very long at all.

I do the pet store audits for them. They are pretty straight forward about what is needed.
I usually take two a day over a period of 7 days. ( a total of 14). I have a dog, so I take him with me, get him some dog food or a new toy.
The pay is not that great (I remember doing them for $17.00 + reimbursement up to $2.00) now they are 10.00 + 1.00)
There payroll is simple. 5th and the 20th. I have direct deposit and it is there when the bank opens on pay day.

purrff - how long does it take to do one of these pet store audits? Do you have to do a lot of heavy lifting to get to the bar codes? thanks // Mary

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.

Mary, it usually takes me right about 1 to 11/2 hours to do two of these. The paper work takes about another20 minutes per audit.
There is no lifting. You basically check the bar codes (which are on the price tags) making sure that they match. Pretty straight forward.
