Telephone Shops

Do you have success with any of these? The one I did wanted you to make a purchase, then cancel it. When you call back to cancel all of the lines were busy constantly. Possibly I missed something here. I eventually cancelled, but it was through the phone number that they express you not to use.

There are telephone shops and then there are telephone shops. There is one to order and cancel pizza which I will not do for precisely the reason you mention.

There are calls through a recorded number that I won't mess with, primarily because I do not want to be part of an officially (or unofficially) recorded phone call myself.

There are other phone shops I would be perfectly content to sit and do all day long, but unfortunately there aren't enough of those to do more than a few per month.
Sella, is that the Nespresso shop? I absolutely *loathe* doing those shops! I'm often asked to do these for the French market and, after doing them once, will never do them again. I don't have the machine to use the product, I don't enjoy having to purchase something online with my credit card then have to cancel it and I don't enjoy working with that particular MSC. Do you still have to take the stupid test to be able to do the shop? 15-20 test for a 3 minute phone call? Not for moi.
When I did a Nespresso shop, I didn't have to cancel it. The MSC reimbursed me for the product plus paid a fee. I don't have the machine, but I can sell the coffee pods.

I had to do a few new car inquiries. Oh boy, the follow up calls. I do feel sorry for the salesmen.

Carol
I know what you mean Carol. These shops make you feel sorry for the salespeople. I've done the internet shops and phone call shops for new cars. Even after you politely tell them you're no longer interesed in a new car, the inquiries don't stop!!
The ones I've found recently are Bestmark (auto shops online & phone calls) & Business Evaluation Services (nursing home phone shops). There's 1 other that only pays $2 for storage shops but I'm not sure who at the moment because I always delete them.
This is by far The Best of The Best of Mystery Shop Forums,Far better than Volition they never help with questions plus they are very mean and rude.
Larrylive - Shopper's view - $2.00 tire shops & storage shops (phone). They'll email you almost everyday with these types of shops
The $2.50 shops are a no for me. I'm unable to be succinct enough in the report to justify them. However, there are others that I do regularly, while in my jammies, no makeup. . .fresh out of the shower. . . or I'm eating popcorn. . . or sitting on the back porch. . .or watching the grass grow. They range from $3 to $8. I do them with pleasure.
Yep, agree. Have been trying to sign up (with Volition), and getting no where with asking questions. Says my email is taken, (how) it's mine, for crying out loud, but says I am not signed up, even though I did weeks ago. Finally got a message saying I would have been "declined" because I used a handle and not my "real" name. Went back, tried again, and it tells me my "email is already registered." ugh!LARRYLIVE Wrote:

larryliveconfused smileyo totally agree w/ you about volition. Should be called The Big Brother Forum. The owner must spend most of his waking hours monitoring posts. Do not get it. I love this forum.
telephone KSS has some- Pinnacle bank phone shops. Catch here is that you have to open an account w/ a certain bank. It works for me.
Yea I had to email the volition site owner because I registered 3 times with then same email he could careless about me. He gave me tons of reasons why it was my fault I was not registered. None the less I finally got in I read all the tedious rules and tried to post a very appropriate question; "Does anyone on here know of any Mystery Shop Companies that exclusively hire for Telephone Shops." The site owner rejected my post saying look around for the answer first. I did that and found no answer. I got more hassles no answers. I am a only dealing with Mystery Shop Forum it so relaxed and layed back here. When I was on volition it is like walking on egg shells.
