MarketForce question

New here. I did a MarketForce shop in MidMay. It was approved and since then shows up on my portal as "approved' and I realize it sits there until they pull it out in preparation for payment. But today on 5/6 all of a sudden I don't see it anywhere. Not in payment details, nowhere.

A week ago I got an email asking me to confirm I'm not an employee of this restaurant and I sent back a polite email that no - I'm not.

I'm worries as to why the completed shop all of a sudden doesn't show in my account. My sis does shops for them and nothing is pulled from her account, she says that usually is 2nd or 3rd week of month.

Any ideas? Thanks

Go to the upper rifht hand corner where it says "Shopper ID" and click on the down arrow.

Select "My Account".

Click on the "Payment Details" tab. Click on "Payment History" on the left hand side. It will show you what Marketforce has issued payment on. Including date of distribution and amounts. Click on the line that shows up and it will show what shops were paid on that date along with the amounts paid for reimbursement and shop fees.
I guess just wait until your June payment to see if it shows up there. I have a few things from before May 10 that don't show up on the status page, but the rest of May's shops are still listed (for now).
My experience is that when the shop disappears from the list of submitted/completed shops, it has been submitted for payment.

At that point it will show up where I told you because finance has "cut a check". It then takes a day or two to show up in my bank account or Paypal, depending on how you choose to be paid.

The instructions I gave also allow you to determine how much of the payment is reimbursement and how much is earned income for tax purposes.
Thanks all for the replies. wrosie appreciate the specific instructions. I tried twice and on "payment details' and 'payment history' ---it's totally blank. And on the screen where approved or "in QC" shops are listed....it's not there anymore.
When did it disappear? Perhaps it needs a day to update? Don't know. I'd check tomorrow or Monday. And check your bank account, the payment might already be there.

There's tons of people here that do or have shopped for them without payment problems.

Perhaps since it's your first payment it's taking longer? Can't say.

But do feel comfortable that if they approved your shop, and it showed up as approved, you will be paid.

I still have 3 or so shops showing invalid because apparrently i messed them up. But they're all over 7 years ago for clients I do not see shopped anymore.

I got this email 2 weeks AFTER my burger shop so I replied and said "I never accepted a shop"----because heck it was 2 weeks after my shop! I then looked up the shop # and saw it was for my one and only burger shop from 2 weeks before the email so on that same day I emailed helpDesk, explained that the shop # I did 2 weeks prior to their email ---and I need am not affiliated with BurgerPeople. Never heard back. BUT there's no deposit. And the shop that used to show "approved" is nowhere to be seen on my website anywhere.

NOT saying they aren't paying me ---obviously they will and they have great reputation. Someone here mentioned a MF rep is active here. I'm thinking I'll post for her on Monday because I'd like to take on more MF shops but want to make sure this one is ok.
I did a car crash client for MF last week. The form allowed me to upload my pictures but would not allow me to click the button to finalize. Now the site has no record of the shop despite the fact I sent the pictures to the editor with an explanation of what happened. Is there a way to find out if the shop did finalize and I just can’t find the evidence of it or if it disappeared into the ether? Thanks.

I wonder if your choice of words triggered them to exclude the shop? Because, after all, if you "never accepted a shop", then you haven't performed one either. If the shop was being questioned by the client, your response wasn't helpful to resolving that. Just answer their question rather than evaluating whether they should be asking, there is always a reason they asked.

First, MF pays in the middle of the month, if you did the job two weeks ago, you're still not going to get paid until sometime around the 20th of the month. Second, you can see your finished jobs on the app up until they process it for payment. It sounds to me like they've processed it and you'll most likely be paid in a week or two.
GREAT point. I just reacted fast because I was scared they accidentally assigned me a shop ---and I didn't want to get a 'flake' when I'm new. I read here that it happened to someone recently - same MSC.

BUT I did rectify it literally hours later and clarified ---once I looked up the shop #.

Oh well I've sent Sherri a message and hopefully I'll be ok.
So you told them you didn't do the shop and are wondering why you aren't getting paid. I'm really confused now.
UPDATE ---- would you believe, MF Sherri replied to me ---on Sunday (today). Seems there's a quirk in the system but she verified my shop is alive and will be paid.

Thank you Sherri for replying so fast. Just wanted to write this here in case some fellow newbie was curious about MF ---- so far so good!
I know you are new(er) on this board, but just because someone posts something, doesn't make it true. Many times people do not include ALL the details and tell "their version" of the truth. You will begin to see who some of those people are the longer you have been participating on this forum.

Many people post from their feelings and the facts do not always line up. It's okay to have opinions. We all do. But some let their judgment be clouded by their opinions.
