Jack Network Payment

When the pay for ICs is habitually late, I am only aware of 2 reasons: A desire to use another's money as an interest free loan or cash flow problems. 1 is bad and the other is not good.

Options 3....the client is just really slow. It happens. We get paid. I would hope no one is doing these with the intention that they will pay the rent with what you get back.
Weather posts--Options 3....the client is just really slow.

Bob comments--Being slow is not an option; it is an aftermath. The price paid for being tardy is a loss of some shoppers. They have a posting I literally drive by monthly; I would have applied had I not read this thread. If any shopper is comfortable with an MSC that regularly, according to this thread, violates the conditions of an agreement, so be it. It is that old adage again, "One shopper's meat, can easily be another's poison." If I were going to take a gamble, it would not be on a leisure job with only a reimbursement.
They paid me finally after about 3 months

I have not been paid for my late Oct jobs. (I'm also not concerned as they always pay within a reasonable period, but that's not what you asked.)

They take 4 months to pay. That has to be a new record.
Did they used to be someone else? I went there and was already signed up, but I know it was not done recently.

Yes, Phantom Shoppers.

And to each their own I guess Bob but man are you pedantic.

Bob replies--If adhering to contract conditions makes me pedantic, i agree; I only work for money.
My September 2025 shop was paid in Nov. I'm waiting for my January shop to be paid - hopefully before the end of March.
I am waiting for a December shop to be paid and it’s just gone past 3 months,
I just sent a note about my January shop. I sent it to the scheduler. Who all did you write to?
I clicked on the shop's "contact" button in my log. I believe it went to the scheduler. I was paid within 72 hours.
I did that. I didn’t get any response yet.
They don't response, they will pay you soon hopefully, if not write again,
Bob has nailed it. This is a company I've been signed up with for like 15 years and never saw any shops. Then they changed their name to Jack and they suddenly had a bunch of dining shops in my area. I've done them for a few years, and, until Fall 2025 they paid between 30 and 45 days after shop acceptance. When I noticed a slowdown it was clear to me that there is suddenly a problem and I resolved not to take any more shops. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on payment for shops done in early December 2025 and early January 2026. No one responds to multiple emails. Although they were previously a good company to work for, I no longer recommend them. I'm guessing they have financial problems. Late payment is how it started with every mystery shopping company I've witnessed go belly up in the 17 years I've been mystery shopping.
