Re: A Closer Look - 19 days ago

I only looked on the website because of this discussion. I thought the no reimbursement sandwich shops were history. Happy to take a few more. I always miss out on any other client. I can't recall ever being asked for more info on these assignments. My most recent editor has an East Asian name, not Eastern European. That doesn't mean it's outsourced. I was looking through emails to check on tha

Re: Help please - Shopped Kroger in the correct city but the wrong location - 20 days ago

I've shopped on the wrong day (a day early) and another time a completed shop didn't submit (probably user error). My scheduler moved the date for the first one, but the no submit had already been rescheduled. At least it was not out of my way. Now I am sure to check my email for the confirmation.

Re: Kroger - 27 days ago

Yes, it wasn't bad.I deliberately avoided stores with no service departments and chose those where employees have been most likely to interact. Out of habit I noted all employee descriptions but not needed when they have tags. You still can N/A for locked bathroom. I like that we don't have to look for baby backs any more, and that they changed the standard for full chicken case. No more fails f

The restroom check isn't new. The details are new.

Re: Kroger - 5 weeks ago

If anyone had read the survey, they may have noticed that there are options for the no nametag situation. I decided to take three at my favorite stores where I don't usually have any issues with the unfriendly ignoring associates. The items that have freshness and supply checks in meat have changed, too.

Re: Kroger - 5 weeks ago

I did not see the offending post. Did it reveal the MS company which would violate everyone's rules?

Re: Kroger - 5 weeks ago

I suggest you actually read the new guidelines and the survey form which addresses some of your "concerns". If you don't like the new program, don't take any shops or take one to try it out before going ballistic. Maybe you just aren't the "target" Kroger shopper. It's their program, not ours. Good luck.

Re: Kroger - 5 weeks ago

Ease drop? There are a number of significant changes. Suggest anyone considering whether to take these look at the new guidelines first. If your shops have not dropped, you can go to those for one of the east coast locations. PS our scheduler did not indicate that the pickups/gas are never returning, just that they don't know. If you've been following Kroger's financial woes from the failed

Re: Amazon Fresh - 5 weeks ago

I wanted to schedule a pickup today and no times were available! I wonder if the staff is getting their pink slips. I went to the store near me and they posted store closing mid March..

Re: Amazon Fresh - 5 weeks ago

Sorry to hear this, my go to store is closing as is another one nearby. I did a few shops early on and one alcohol delivery but haven't continued my Prime memberhsip.

Kroger - 5 weeks ago

Email from scheduler dropped. No pickup/gas stations next month.

Re: A Closer Look - 6 weeks ago

I've done multiple sandwich shops when convenient as there are many near my home. Almost always reimbursement only. Pay as promised.

Re: Kroger Questions - 6 weeks ago

If you didn't get the email that at least two of us in different regions got, I guess you can wait until February to find out. Email your scheduler to clarify anything that doesn't make sense to you. As the email said, this is Kroger's choice.

Re: Kroger Friday 4X point question - 6 weeks ago

You don't have to scan a card, you can enter your Alternate ID (phone number) if you have one. Yes the points should show immediately on your receipt.

Re: Kroger Questions - 2 months ago

Mostly the meat counter tags are next to impossible. If both of you are tall, maybe. The rest of us are bending over trying to read it when the slide open their side of the case to get something. Usually the Deli Counter is okay, many wear them on the hat and I shop the same stores often enough to know all of their names from when I see them either on the floor or at the lower part of the case.

@piebaby wrote: In the past there was also pick up shop and gas stations too, but they were paused for the reminder of last year and we were told that they would come back in February when everything resets. With those you are not allowed to pickup and go inside on the same day one or the other but you can do a fuel stations with a pickup and a fuel station with an inside shop. I thought I reme

KIind of odd. I saw a text from the scheduler and there were none, and still none.

Dropped on West Coast at noon. No one seems to want them anymore.

Re: Kroger Shops Drop Today? - 3 months ago

Must be some kind of test shop. Nothing dropped here today on the west coast. We are just wrapping up the November round.

Re: Jersey Mike's photos - 4 months ago

Restroom photos are NOT required unless something is amiss. Then you take a photo only of the problem, which could be a closeup. I've never had to take one (Probably because all of the restrooms require an entry code).. The slicer is one of the easier photos to take. The counter is more difficult. Never had a problem getting paid for these. Only one has had a bonus.

Re: Kroger Shops Drop Today? - 4 months ago

My theory is that it is the store managers asking for followups. Mine have mainly been from the poshest stores that usually score 100%. This month It was just about a name tag. Yet in a 'hood store half the time the produce guys often fail, and there isn't any follow up. Less than 5 times for me.

Re: Kroger Shops Drop Today? - 4 months ago

Some employees and managers are just smarter and pay more attention to shopper behavior, not always the schedule of your shops. E.g., staring at name tags, taking notes, always visiting all of the service departments but just asking questions or buying an unusually small purchase. There have been stores where I've suspected they knew who I was based on their behavior. At one the manager said some

Re: Kroger Shops Drop Today? - 4 months ago

I probably did when there were pickups, since 12x2 is more than 15 (1 pickup and 1 in store per month at the closest location). Last month my issue probably had to do with spacing requirement. If you can't self assign it's probably a good idea to ask why. The scheduler did mention that staff has made a game out of trying to ID the shopper, and if they have they can ask that you be removed fr

Re: Kroger Shops Drop Today? - 4 months ago

It actually says this at the bottom of the instructions under Project and Scheduling Notes "you are permitted to complete up to 15 visits at the same store per year. Please pace your visit schedule so you have consistent opportunities to shop stores in your area throughout the year." Not stated is that each month they first want them spaced by 4 days (to Start) and not all bunched at the begin

Re: October Krogers - 4 months ago

Yeah, I have some stores like that. And unless they start back with pickups, and the one to one rule, I won't be doing that store again. PS they did drop today as I'm sure everyone discovered. Went a lot easier with the staggered release times.
by melg - Mystery Shopping Discussion

Re: Kroger Shops Drop Today? - 4 months ago

Def went much easier and I was able to get shops that wouldn't self assign last month.

Re: Kroger Shops Drop Today? - 4 months ago

We got the same type of memo mid September with the info for our scheduler's region in the west. It did mention that times could be off by half an hour. If you got the memo, it explains why some of us might not be able to self assign all of our desired shops. One reason might be that shops are spaced too tightly together or all at the start of the window.
