Thank you for the follow up GIGI. Those caps seem expensive or maybe its been ages since I've purchased one.

Re: Sonic Shops Not Being Available? - 1 year ago

I am curious if you are removed if the Sonic location discovers or suspects you are the mystery shopper. I know most employees don't care and some might think it is a game to figure out who it is. If the MSP wants us to be anonymous with this shop, then they should remove the restroom requirement to increase the chances we are not discovered. Like someone else here said, there aren't many secr

Re: Intelli Shop will not pay mystery shoppers - 2 years ago

It is difficult to give credence to a poster that has one post and after making that post, logs off from the site never to return. I will give them credit because typically a one and done will create an account, post, and leave within 15 minutes. This person created an account and waited a few days before posting.

Race to Zero is over Field Agent Do Work No Pay - 2 years ago

A couple of days ago I was on Field Agent. They had a Just for Fun! category listed at $0.00. They want you to go to a designated location and take a pic of the best halloween display in the store. No pay and they point out they are not charging their clients for this. You can do up to 20 of these! I am failing to see where the fun part is. Each submission gets you into a drawing for a

Re: Customer Impact - 2 years ago

@boutique I think the nonsense with them is a combination of low pay and slow to ship product when needed. If they need to ship you cards or marketing materials, they don't ship the same or next day you are assigned. This laid back attitude with shipping makes it harder for you to coordinate a route that has other shops because you can't always count on when you will receive the Customer Imp

I would argue as a shopper, it's my responsibility to check that what I'm about to go and do is going to be there like expected. Yes, the MSP/MSC should give the correct information, but they are not compiling the data, but instead setting up the shops

Re: PayPal service charge - 2 years ago

I think this is specific to Bare International and one receiving a paypal payment from them. Bare wants shoppers to use Tipalti. I haven't seen other companies apply a fee when issuing payments via paypal. Has Anyone done the Bizarre Blue Pin Phone Shops for $10 - 2 years ago

I was thinking about bad blue pin shops and the fast food kiosk drink menu and plant audits immediately came to mind. Has anyone done the phone shops that appear as a blue pin and currently are on the board where you are supposed to go to one of the major cell companies where you supposedly already have an account and go through the steps of adding a phone line to the account for a top of the

Re: Lowes - Are They Still Shopped? - 2 years ago

@Paula7928 There was a thread on this not that long ago. The shop was changed so that there was no return component, just a required purchase and you were reimbursed up to $2 for that and the fee dropped by the same two bucks. There was still a 2 department visit and there might've been a discussion about looking for something on the endcap. I haven't seen them since. I didn't bother to look in

Re: GIGWALK what happened - 2 years ago

@Tonytj It would help if you offer reasons for saying it is a scam company. Perhaps we have different definitions for scam. Can you expand on what you mean? Are you going off of personal experience or exclusively from what people said online. Speaking of reviews, there was a time where people said it was a great app and they had lots of jobs. I was trying to figure out how do you go from

Re: Oh to be young again - tobacco compliance! - 2 years ago

@Luna126 I misinterpreted your statement about older people talking to younger people about these shops. My statements were from talking to younger people about the shops and I wasn't making assumptions. It is interesting that you write about shop pay in general and timeliness at this time. I was recently telling someone else that the MSCs should feel pressure to raise fees since there are

Re: Wow! Exciting opportunity to get a chance to win a $100 gift card - 2 years ago

@FrugalCat No one has ever won the gift card. If it is a legitimate drawing, then someone does win of course. I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't closed the drawing yet. Like someone else said, the gift card drawing at conferences are given to favored clients, so the results have nothing to do with luck and all to do with assignment. I might fall for it if the company said they were co

Re: RED WHITE and BLUE, new RIPOFF !!! - 2 years ago

@claabe I don't understand. Are you not giving the certificate to the clerk, even when 90% are asking about the loyalty program, because that is part of the job. If they are in uniform and ask if you are a red white and blue rewards member/like more information on the loyalty program, then awarding them the certificate is compulsory. That is interesting that only the red white and blue st

That's amazing to have 90% ask about rewards! I am not saying that it isn't true, it is just a huge deviation from my experience which is 0% and @F and L TeleComm 's which is probably at less than 5% with one asking because they recognize the shopper. There was a thread here a while back that other forum members' experiences were that it was low and that it was a waste of paper to print the cer

@metro25782 If you are getting $75 and you have to be there for 2 hours, then that is good pay in my book. If you are getting $40 for 2 hours, then I am not so convinced that it is good pay. If your choices at that period in time are low, then maybe that is the best you can do at the moment. The thing is since the start time is concrete and you are required to arrive 30 minutes before the te

@claabe I don't know that our infrequent mystery shops with reveal move the needle on reward program sign ups or clerks asking customers that question. I can tell you that I've never awarded the certificate to a cashier asking if I am a rewards member at any gas station. I've heard it twice and that was after I had revealed myself and the clerk asked the next two people about becoming a reward

Review your receipts and charges some places have phantom pricing and overcharging in general - 2 years ago

Recently I went to dinner at a national restaurant chain. The items ordered were from a special menu price where you get an entree, a side, and a dessert for one set price plus a couple of beverages were ordered. When I received the bill, I reviewed it to make sure the items were there and each item was billed correctly. Everything was listed correctly and I was about to put my credit card

@claabe I am not thrilled with the new $15/$3 pay rate either. I don't understand how our work made them the # 1 rewards program in the U.S. I am not sure that is even accurate. Doesn't the plate container that they serve the to go and drive thru orders in seem small. It is narrower than the typical styrofoam containers. I don't know if they went to a smaller size during Covid, but it doesn't seem to be a great value to me - when I'm paying.
