Another out of pocket shop. I stopped accepting Cane's shops, even though the survey is easy, matter of principle not going to pay to do a mystery shop. I just cancelled my Pizza one.
I think they were making sure I ordered an eligible item. They just didn't adjust the question with inflation, just like they didn't adjust the reimbursement
I'm about to submit a RC shop that I did about an hour ago. I typically get the Caniac so I can share with my kids. They finally fixed it, but for a while I had to answer an extra question asking why my meal was so expensive -- I got rather colorful a few times explaining inflation.
It is a simple shop, but I agree in principle that I should be able to order the required item and not be out
The MSC for this & 5 Guys are getting stingy. I haven't seen anything above just reimbursement in the past month, but I've been holding out for $10 for a couple of years getting a couple of jobs a month. Inflation is everywhere except reimbursement and job fees.
I just did a delivery app one, and this might be the most painful mystery shop I've ever done. Tons of pictures and manual entry of prices. I can't say that everything is accurate, maybe that's why it takes forever to get approvals.
I didn't realize coffee and shakes were included, they were in a different section of the uber app and the guidelines only said to go to beverages.
I'm curi
They're reasonable without a ton of effort to complete the shop. But, they haven't raised the reimbursements even though all of their clients have raised prices. I laugh when my order exceeds their range of expected costs -- I'm starting to get more sarcastic in my responses. I hold out until they offer bonuses.
This certification is very annoying -- the pictures are not clear and the situations would be clear if you were in a location able to see customers together as one party or if a workstation was in use with the employee temporarily away.
Seems like it would deter many from accepting after providing logical answers to this cert and failing without any direction.
There are some in the TX area. My status is still active from last year. With the Marriott status changes last year, does anybody know if the upgrade is to Plat or Titanium?
I wrote off the one job I did without payment, I feel for those with a lot more.
Personally, I think we should all accept as many job assignments as possible, flake, and not respond. Then create accounts (we have at least one other email address from this job), then repeat.
Many will probably think this is petty, but there is a purpose, if the company is unable to serve its client, the
I really like this thread -- its more of a tell us you worst rejection story. I've had my share.
.
I'm still annoyed by a rejection on a Car Wash project. The job required you to get a "Platinum Plus" Car Wash. The problem was there were two Platinum Plus's -- one that was accepted and the other had interior conditioning was rejected, but both had the same name. The msc did not budge.
I
I'm having similar issues with DD -- I build the order, go to checkout then get an error -- I never got these kinds of errors with the other delivery/pickup vendors.
Anybody else notice how absurd DD's fees are? Nearly 40% of the total cost goes to DD or the driver. I get there is some premium for this, but $12 on a $20 order? DD attempts to hide their 11% fee in the "Fees & Taxes" line,
ACL has one of, if not the, largest client lists of any MSC I know. They have some high end shops that are highly sought after. They use both to their advantage in low reimbursements and rarely a job fee. The funny thing is I did one of their fine dining lately and found the report much easier to complete than some of their pizza or other casual dining for 10-20% of the reimbursement. vs the
Good to see Presto & Confidential Consumer here, I just did my first for them after completing several for MERC & BVA.
The process for presto is very frustrating. First you only have 8 hours to complete the assignment, at least 4 of those are chewed up by the order ahead requirement -- must be 4 hours or more. And many locations don't offer ordering ahead.
I'm baffled by the requi
Stay away from Red Quanta....
I did a shop in November and I still haven't been paid. The number on their website isn't active and their inbox is full. Their facebook page no longer exists.
Edit..finally received payment.
But their site is a mess, and their support is virtually non-existent. I won't do another for these guys.
Definitely a problem with payments....
I did my first shop with them in November, still haven't been paid. They have a phone number, which is no longer in service and their email inbox returns an error saying its full. Not looking good here.
What is the difference? A certain MSC almost always asks these questions in separate sections requiring narratives. Both sections ask you to rate 1 - 10. I'm tempted to copy & paste. It is frustrating they cannot combine such similar questions into the same section.
I have a love / hate relationship with ACL. They have some great locations. I actually like the Pizza place, and now they're paying a fee, I don't mind doing it. They're notoriously stingy on payments on most clients. Often I'm out of pocket which depending on the situation is not always bad.
But their reports are much longer than other MSC's. And, the most annoying is that they're so
A Closer Look has a bunch. Careful on Sentry, they have a lot of good clients, but they're hard to work with and a lot of shoppers have said no thanks -- including myself.
Not to mention their owner is piece of work...really disappointed a few years ago when they bought out feedback plus (one of the best). They have good clients, but long narratives, stingy editors, slow pay, etc -- save yourself the hassle.
I love to see when one of their former clients goes to another MSC -- I go out of my way to take those assignments.
Seelevel is doing delivery app shops in some major cities(yes, all the ones you've heard of -- 3rd parties that you order from and a driver picks up your food and brings it to your door). I just cancelled my shop though...it wasn't clear on sign up that the app required a $20 minimum purchase then add on delivery fee, tip, and tax. Total would be $35 with a meager $12 reimbursement.
Yes,
Help, I completed a BWW shop last week and I see that it has been disqualified for
"Unfortunately the guidelines were not followed and an entree or wings and appetizer were not ordered and therefore we are unable to accept or pay for this shop."
I've done this shop numerous times, but not in a while. I cannot view the guidelines now, does anybody have a copy or can check this for me? I o
Seelevel has a new policy that you cannot scan receipts for this client. Not sure how many of you use Neat (receipt scanner)-- but I do and it's a big convenience when it comes to scanning receipts -- especially long ones like this one. Now they say they must be able to see a background.
I cannot understand what would be wrong with a receipt scanned vs. picture. Bizarre..hope others don't
