In a slow seek with a few close to home, I can grab for the easy filler as long as weather is ok. But minimal effort to complete very few. I think the base fee went up--barely.
The otter app might be showing the other retail brand that carries this line. That is why it is only $40. Base is $30 for 1.5 hours. I am not prepared to attempt the eight hour visit yet. Maybe January? Definitely not in December as a first time visit.
I rarely randomly check the job board. I am used to seeing the sporadic shop emails. I miss some of the hopping signage placements in a particular retailer. The work was straightforward and the pay decent for time onsite and minimal staff interaction.
I have not done as much MS as I fell into preferring audits (though minimal gas) and other 1099. Now that I am looking at picking up more variety agian to leverage possible income opportunities, it seems as if there are not as many businesses seeking this kind of feedback. If you think about how petroleum industry has cut back on visits, different stores declaring bankrtupcy or closing locations,
This was the post I could not relocate the other day. I have been mostly absent from this forum since the middle of COVID until the last couple of weeks. Is walesmaven among the departed? I also recall Flash. After reading about BusyBee and seeing this post, I did a search on walesmaven and saw no activity since last year. TY.
Asking that question must be required. I did that kind of thing years ago on the iSS platform which tacught me a lot as I fell into MS. Knowing that answer informed me better as a consumer to also understand what OS I preferred and why and got me to think about tech in finer details. I can still run circles around my spouse and ask great questions when buying tech with my kids to make them more i
The company you cited recruits many college-aged kids like a focus group pool or similar to the alcohol or tobacco compliance.
Years ago I did an audio recorded visit for a private tech college that did fold when they had a crackdown based on expectations of educational outcomes, placement success.
It seems to be the case from what I have seen lately. I was gone from this forum for a long time. On the pure merchandising side with much less activity, disclosure of merch company names is done freely within those discussions. Granted, not as sensitive as pure MSP company or assignment discussions.
Based on my communication efforts and what others have contributed, I think it is completely on the client demands and expectations and abrupt decision disclosure. I think the MSC is scrambling. Because this was such a large national account when the roll out started--I did a few visits in the spring or summer last year that might have been a pilot--I wonder if they added to their staff as well,
There is always a balance between cash flow, ease of assignments and proximity or convenience of assignments.
To preserve oneself however, it is important to recognize when self-care is priceless, when you need to say no, even at the risk of some hardship or stress.
Not today, but yesterday I was at DCI Finals in Indianapolis. And there were among corps members some Candian participants! I think at least the Troopers, out of Caspar, WY had Canadians in the finals. Each corps carries nation flags of their active members leading into the final procession.
My eye remained covered until in the office the next day aside from any eye drop management.
I had premature cataracts as a side effect from Lasik about 2001 I actually had two Lasik surgeries in each eye as expected because I am high index myopic--pathalogicial myopathy that remains after the corneal flattening provided me nearly 10 years without any glasses. The first Lasik after healing pro
I had that too, but given our instructions and considering other information, it might be likely that there were ongoing merchandisers, maybe W2 employees of some company, that represented themselves as from TY as we were told to and nsntructed in the app.
OK. Since someone mentioned Crossmark, I came across something earlier today where RSS was mentioned. I just do not know how long ago that might have been.
I stumbled across something today. A dedicated merchandising company name, not MSP. Maybe message me? If the company is straight merchandising, still reluctant to name it here. And I guess TY always had outside support, but maybe they were attempting to eliminate more people in the process if some comments I have seen about customer disastisfaction increased over time with that customer service n
I am still trying to figure out if some people did get an email about repeating usual stores. There were big holes on job board and map that made no sense. I am checking daily to see what comes up. In the meantime, I wonder if the stores will ever get a corporate vendor update saying we are no longer supporting service at your location. Very confusing with last minute changes.
There are too many gas stations available on the job board that I will not do because I have done some MS with that C-store brand as it bounces between MSP and I want to keep that option open. I am in a reasonably dense area and can get away with the support for card merchandising that is infrequent and I also sometimes are in these locations as a regular customer with a route too. Looking to see
I have been told they are moving to monthly visits. But I also see gaps on the job board map for August. Mostly big stores are absent. Noy sure what is going on, if accounts ate broken up into waves of visits each month. Not sure if some merchandisers got preferential offers. Not sure if part of big problem was system failures converting stops to monthly now and data merge was bad.
I do just a few near my home in smaller stores. I too am baffled by the new stops added at a high rate. I am not sure if this involves revisiting stores that declined, trying to push more locations to add or just cleaning up the data sets on store locations. I say that because the store locations posted were unexpected. The quattro was not universal in a mix of small stores. Not sure if it was lo
I think once they began getting people used to a route it was easy to lock in recurring visits. It can be easy if you know the store you are walking into and what to expect. Nobody likes surprises of a big shipment or multiple placements. It seems part of the push for advance scheduling is that it reduces company fees for using the Sassie platform if they have placeholders for multiple location v
