You don't get much per receipt, but you can scan the same receipt across multiple apps. I save them up and do them in one go normally when I'm watching TV or something so it's not a total waste of time. It's a bit time consuming but it does add up. Some of them give you bonuses too.
I use CoinOut, Fetch, ReceiptPal, Pogo and Merryfield to scan any receipt. I also use Ibotta and Shopmium - you have to select specific offers for them. I don't see any particular repercussions. Let me know if you want referrals for any as we would both earn something.
Yes, they pay separately, but at the same time and are labelled differently. I was expecting quite a big chunk from the Shopmetrics side and a little amount of Sassie and got neither.
Not me. The only one I've got so far is from Intellishop. I've done my return and just listed Ipsos/Maritz together, but separated the different parts.
Good to know! Maybe one more separation on my accounting - I think I have four or five already.
I went through everything last night and double checked in case I don't get all the 1099s. I normally don't wait for them and just do the return from my records, but maybe I'll give it another week or two this year under the circumstances. I haven't got any 1099s yet from any companies.
Has anyone had a 2020 1099 tax statement yet for IPSOS? I think it's normally early Feb so I'm probably a bit early to expect it.
I'm wondering if it will be one for everything or will there be a separate one from Maritz from the start of the year, and then three different ones for Ipsos (Ipsos legacy, Sassie and Shopmetrics). Not sure whether to separate these on my tax return or lump them all
Maybe it depends on the project - I find Sassie editing and pay to be incredibly fast. The Legacy is still there at least in my area. I've been doing shops for the three parts of IPSOS.
They pay much more quickly now through Zelle. I believe my October shop was paid in November. There are instructions on the sign in page of what to do to set up Zelle. It's not automatic.
It depends which side of IPSOS. IPSOS Sassie is unbelievably fast. IPSOS Maritz/V2 (or whatever it's called) is quite fast. I notice that the Shopmetrics side is quite a bit slower, at least for some of the shops that I did before Christmas, but I have been paid for them.
I just got paid by Cirrus for February shops, so pleased about that. I was pleasantly surprised that I have been paid by all the companies I had done shops for before the coronavirus hit (so far). I still have a couple more shops to be paid for, but so far so good.
Just wondering if anyone has been paid yet. I was expecting payment this week. Have written to them twice and this time didn't get a reply, only the automated messaging confirming that February shops should be paid at the end of May +5/7 days so right about now.
Thanks,
Chris
Pleasantly surprised to get paid - actually came in on the 9th and I didn't realize. Never got a reply to my request for futher information, but I suppose they thought there was no need. It's a pain to have to chase, but good news that the payment came through.
Thanks for your replies. I will follow your advice, MFJohnston. I know what you mean about chasing payments. I always take note of the approximate date and write to them if it doesn't come in. I didn't know how to contact the owner. That's great to know.
I was really nervous about getting paid for shops when this all hit, but I must say so far (touch wood), this is the first one that I'm really
I was wondering if anyone has been paid this week by Cirrus for their December jobs? I wrote to the questions email and was told that due to the current events, it would take just a bit longer.
I asked for a more specific timeframe than "just a bit longer," but haven't heard back yesterday. I only replied last night, so I will probably hear back today, but in the meantime, I thought I would ask
I shopped for Premier Service when on holiday in Canada in the summer. I did some gas shops and they were fine, paid via PayPal. I found them on Jobslinger. You could try it to see what other companies shop in the part of Canada you're going to. I was in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
I meant to update this. I was paid just shortly after I posted this yesterday. I don't know if it was a coincidence or maybe it was a delayed reaction from the contact made to them by Pete. Either way, I'm happy to get paid and will definitely not work for them again.
Has everyone been paid for June? It's still showing as pending for me. I wrote to Pete last week and he wrote to them, but no word back from them. It's not a lot of money, but I earned it!
Will never work for MeasureCP again. I suppose I'm fortunate to have never had problems being paid before, so a company that does doesn't pay, doesn't warn they're not going to pay and doesn't respond to ques
They seem to pay the middle of the month for the previous month's work. They paid me on Sep 15th for work in August, although there was a delay on all jobs for one client - they'll hopefully pay those tomorrow. A previous month, I was paid on 22nd.
Definitely not. I used to do a lot for the company I guess you are talking about and I haven't seen them for months. Shame as they were so easy. Some new companies would be nice with that company. Fingers crossed.
