I remember an inexperienced manager asking me to clean the air conditioning system in the office. I refused as I had my decent suit on and had my actual work tasks to do.
A week later, a new employee started. She was dressed to impress. The manager asked her to clean the air con on her first day. Predictably she didn’t return to work the next day.
The unemployment rate is low because people are taking low-paid jobs and gig work to survive high inflation.
I guess someone will take the position because it is better than nothing.
Despite it ‘being against the law’, in reality who is going to know you are picking up $20 on the sly. And would care anyway.
That said, if your trip is a vacation it seems like a waste of vacation time writing a report.
Yes, I believe the person who suggested, ‘almost everyone’ has committed felonies seems to be lumping ‘everyone’ with sex offenders and violent criminals. I believe most mystery shoppers don’t deserve to tarred with the same brush as the dregs of society.
“And, if not felons, undocumented immigrants, without whom, this country would grind to a halt.’
Illegal immigrants just keep wages down. If the illegals disappeared, companies would have to pay living wages to get workers. And people wouldn’t have to scratch a living by getting the pitiful offering of mystery shopping conpanies.

Great! Another villain mystery shopping!
Not all felons are villans. Statistically speaking, you have committed

Sometimes you can bend the rules a bit in this game. As long as you have a child who acts like an adult it should be fine. If the child has ADD I wouldn’t recommend it.
Mystery shopping seems like a perfect fit for members of the felon community as they don’t need to worry about background checks and the like. Have you cone across as felons during your mystery shopping work?

Does anyone have a contact email for one of the higher-ups at Coyle?
Have an unusual situation and this would require an HR-type of involvement. Thanks.
Sounds like you made a complaint about an editor. How was the outcome?

Food pantries?!? I am not sure what posts you are referencing, Bob.
Took your advice and the results came back with ‘Sausage Party’ related information.
Falsifying receipts is one of the easiest scams a mystery shopper can pull. I mean a lot of the receipts are difficult to read before they are even scanned.
A percentage of the general population are always looking to game the system and I’m sure a similar percentage of mystery shoppers do likewise.
It even goes without saying some mystery shoppers go through garbage cans to get receipts

How did tbe shopper get a receipt for a Sunday if the store wasn't open?
I am sure there are ways of changing dates and other details on receipts. In fact, I am sure some people are tech savvy enough to make a receipt from scratch on their PCs.

Serious question: if you’re admittedly so bad at these things, why are you working as a mystery shopper?
In Morledzep’s defense, few people are good at all aspects of their jobs. Perhaps, Morledzep has superior des
Here are some of the opinions of Kroger employees from Reddit. I couldn’t find any positive opinions.
1. Not me, but we got a bad shop once, describing a coworker and naming him, but he was off that day.
Reply: We were able to get one of the shoppers fired because of that. They submitted bad shops multiple stores in my area the same day and all of them had specific employees mentioned that
I do high-end shops but have never gone over the limits by more than a few pennies. The shops I do usually have enough options without the need to go over budget.
I view such shops as an opportunity to get a ‘free’ meal for a report rather than doing work for a discounted meal.

If that happens say, "No....are you the secret customer"...that will throw them off. I'm being serious. It comes off as a bit harsh but I can almost guarantee you they will drop it.
That doesn't even make sense.
It might turn into a scene like in Spartacus. Instead of everyone claiming to be Spartacus everyone in the restaurant denies being a mystery shop
I met a ‘colorful’ shopper in Vegas. She drank like a fish and cussed like a drunken sailor.
She boasted about various scams she was in. The shopper ones focused on reusing old reports or writing reports before doing shops particularly elaborate hotel ones.
