I have also wondered the same thing. When I do the local shops, I get the "red carpet" treatment. When I complete shops out of state, they are usually terrible. I just completed one last week and all boxes were checked as well as we were seated in "Willie's corner!" Do we just get lucky with excellent service or do they know?
I love that!

I would add a ‘roo.’ Zipstaroo.

Im on LinkedIn for my salaried job, but not for mystery shopping. I am unsure how one would network on LinkedIn as a mystery shopper. I use it to connect with industry partners.
I do love TXR and do not mind paying a little out of pocket. I also do NOT find it strange that people are saying $50 is not enough, since $50 is clearly not enough for the typical shopper. Having to pay $4-$10 for the cheapest menu items shows the reimbursement is not enough.
The one in my area is a winery with events such as, "music bingo," and "wine and chocolate pairings," etc..There are no live music events. I guess that is why the job is just sitting on the board.
We are also out about $10 because of the tip. They really need to raise the reimbursement since they now require an appetizer. I agree, the appetizer are not very "appetizing." I have been getting the chilli. I pick these up mainly because my husband and daughter like to go.

On this topic (not to create a new thread), I picked up 4 of these. I did 3 in one day and 1 the next day. I received feedback of 9 on two and 10 on the other two. There was no explanation. All four were reviewed by the same editor. Did anyone else receive inconsistent feedback? I know this really doesn't matter in the whole scheme of things, but an explanation would be nice.
Was the $5 gift card reimbursed? I understand and vaiidate your feelings about it not being in the guidelines prior, but if its fully reimbursed, what is the big deal? You could always regift in a "snatch-a-gift" or include in a gift basket.
We watched the 7B by our house the "built." It was delivered in one piece and placed there within hours like a modular home. I suspect it could be removed very easily or converted to a different business as the trend shifts.
I picked up a Ziggi's Coffee while in CO last fall. All of these little coffee shops are popping up now. What will happen when the trend shifts? What will become of these portable boxes?
Yes, same as before.

Blaze has been shopped in my area for over a year now. They stopped a few years ago and are back. This time, no requirement to get every employees name.
That is interesting and encouraging. Is it the same company that did them before? They are franchised however so it may be that a franchise owner in your local area is ordering the shop
If this is the same one that ran last year,I did a few at Wal Mart pharmacy. They were very straightforward and did not take long at all. One of the pharmacies had no idea what I was asking.
