"To have represented to others via PM that suspension was due to something else is dishonest."
I will just reply to this because you are entitled to your opinion and I am not of a mind to argue. She did not represent it dishonestly. She did not specify who she was supposed to apologize to and I made an erroneous assumption. She clarified it to me just before I made my post above.
Okay, I have been informed that I was mistaken so I apologize for that. I misunderstood the information I was given. However, since this is now out in the open I will just say that YOU wanted her to apologize to you or you were going to suspend her. Maybe she owed you an apology, and maybe she didn't. But to use the power of your moderator tools to extract an apology is ridiculous. Sure you are e
To suspend Jas because she won't apologize to someone who follows her around and trolls her to get a reaction is ridiculous and unfair. I wouldn't apologize either.
The bias of the mods is blatant.
Good luck everyone.
I"m shopping for a new sofa. The old one broke last night. We knew we needed a new one but was hoping the old one would last until a vaccine is available. Alas, it was not to be. It's difficult shopping for a sofa online since I can't sit on it. For that reason we will get an inexpensive one for the interim. If we like it great! It was inexpensive and we like it. If we don't, well at least it was
Had a change of plans. Ann said she didn't feel like salad so I thought I would make soup. I put some broth and chicken in the IP and cooked it, took the chicken out and shredded it and put in carrots, celery and potatoes. I cooked that and it seemed boring and dull and I might even say tasteless. I put in some herbs and then decided to make chicken stew from it and I added some gravy packets. We
Today (and tomorrow) I'm making this no-knead cinnamon raisin bread. Well, if I have raisins, I haven't checked but who cares. The bread looks divine. Apparently it rises overnight with no help or kneading from me. Sounds like a plan.
Yeah the recipe called for more olive oil than I actually used. I just put the leftover in a small jar to use for something else. I'm with Jas. I want to know the details of the bread diet.
Focaccia bread is something I usually pick up in the bakery. Well, I haven't been in the bakery for awhile so I found this recipe. It's easy and delicious, better than the bakery.
I'm jealous of all you guys whos stuff rusts and at some point is done. I buy cheap crap and it lasts forever. I buy nice stuff and have problems. That old beat up rice cooker that cost $10 is still going strong and no rust at all. It makes good rice , but not brown rice. I like to buy new things once in awhile and it's much harder to justify if the old things still work.
It was cold and damp so I played with my new instant pot instead of mowing. It made perfect brown rice, which I love but never make because I'm not good at it. Then I cleaned out under the sink. Soon Ann will wake up and we'll watch TV and have dinner.
My stove is acting hinky. One of the elements has burned out altogether and since they are all the same age I figure anything could happen. So I went ahead and bought an instant pot so that I do not have to let anyone in to replace my stove. Between it, the crock pot, microwave, and rice cooker I should be able to cook nearly everything, even several things at once if need be. So I'll be picking
Yeah, it was the same price everywhere. However the Aqua was sold out almost everywhere. I got lucky at BBB and had to make a new email account to get the 20% off but it finally came through. If it had not I would have purchased through the Kitchenaid site where they engrave your name for free which is silly but cool. At the Kitchenaid site they offered me a 10% discount.
I made up my mind 40
I've spent the day looking for the best price for a certain Kitchenaid mixer. It has to be Aqua and that complicates things. But now I'm just waiting on a coupon to arrive in my email.
I thought The Voice was better than I expected. It's a fresh look at the contestants, that is for sure. I was kind of impressed at how well they did without a bunch of staging and equipment. Of course there was some, but it was scaled way back.
Today I went and picked up a few groceries. I did this order with Kroger to take advantage of some coupons. So much stuff was not in stock that (as usual) I have to come home and place another one with Walmart to get the things Kroger didn't have. Oh well. I got the cold stuff cleaned up and in the fridge and now I'm going to have lunch and then start weed eating. The fence line is about a foot h
It wasn't me. I don't buy napkins. I bought a bunch of really nice unbleached muslin ones a few years ago on clearance and have used them ever since. I am really careful with my hoarding. I've been buying from Amazon and I only buy one item at a time. Of course the items are very large, like a pack of 24 rolls of TP, but I will only buy one so that there is plenty for everyone else.
Thanks for
Well someone was willing to pay more than the house we wanted was worth. So we looked around and didn't find anything else that looked viable. We expect the housing market will crash at some point so we decided to wait and look at that time. In the past few years we have been so busy trying to keep our heads above water that our current house has become a messy disorganized pit. Ann is still work
I'm making about 20 trips to the attic. After reading many articles about the next wave of covid coming in August, supply chain breakdown and why the prices of paper products will be increasing by 10%, I have decided to stock a years supply of those things in the attic. There is just no reason not to, and then I won't have to worry about it anymore at least for a year. I have already gotten in a
