Re: Sentry Marketing....Has Anyone Else Seen This - 9 days ago

@Deedeezthoughts wrote: @87Supra wrote: If I happen to see something on GS I am interested in I just go to the source. I am usually in the position where I can wait to get paid. Sentry doesn't allow access to their site if you have a Gigspot account. Interesting, I am sure I have done work for them. More like over the last 10 years, who haven't I worked for?

I don't feel I should have to ask

If I happen to see something on GS I am interested in I just go to the source. I am usually in the position where I can wait to get paid.

Not useless if you do work for a company that uses it

Re: Mystery Shopping Apps - 10 days ago

Go Spot Check I very rarely MS anymore I can deal with Sassie on a phone for certain jobs but not for much more than 4 or 5 pictures. Time is money and it is too slow.

Re: Peloton Assessment Shops - 21 days ago

I always take any time the MSC gives as time in store (after you have done a few). I do very few one off jobs these days. I like stuff in batches so after the first few you have an idea whether it is worth it to do more.

Re: Peloton Assessment Shops - 21 days ago

Thanks Guess I will have to look again at the guidelines. They want you to ride the bike and use the treadmill? For 5 minutes each? I have done quite a bit of work in Dick's Sporting Goods and don't mind the place, but I don't think I am in for exercising while I work.

Re: Citgo - What am I missing? - 21 days ago

Try using a dedicated app like Go Spot Check or Mobi Audit. Makes using Sassie on a phone seem like pre internet days,.

Re: Citgo - What am I missing? - 21 days ago

I will do the debrands at closed stations only. And only as a drive by. Using Sassie on a phone (or a computer) takes too long on the picture upload time. Maybe someday, they (many Sassie companies) will pitch in and get a proper app.

I am supposed to do a few this week. Anything you want to share about the job? Like should I just cancel?

Re: Intellishop Sucks - 23 days ago

I have been doing stuff for them but I don't do narrative work anymore. They pay when they say and will usually extend dates without issue. No problems with them here.

Re: Gas station shops - some observations 2010 vs 2026 - 23 days ago

All depends on the job. I did 6 today for a 12 mile round trip in 1.5 hours including submission. Used 1.75 in gas. I was quite satisfied with my hourly rate for those.

Re: Burgers are getting expensive - 23 days ago

Many places to get a combo for half that. I bet Wendy's double combo would be about 12.00. 5 Guys makes decent food but not anywhere worth the money in my book.

Unless you are a repeated no show, nobody cares about the grade.

Don't care about the grade, care about getting paid

Re: IntelliShop fee shop in past now no fee report - 4 weeks ago

Nobody is making anybody do anything they don't want to. Last I checked, I signed up for every job I do. It is my choice. I will do a certain job on a certain day for a certain fee if it works for me that day. It might not work for that fee another day, so I don't do it. Having the government involved, especially now, would not be in my best interest.

Re: Sometimes problems with GoSpotCheck - 4 weeks ago

Yeah, that would suck. Those pictures went somewhere if they uploaded. Hopefully they find them. I have mentioned a few times that storing a copy of pictures locally would be a good option but nobody cares. I was told it is a benefit to not use up space on my phone. I have space and I should be allowed to decide. Hope they find your stuff

Re: IntelliShop fee shop in past now no fee report - 4 weeks ago

That is why I only do food that I would buy out of pocket. Don't care what the restaurants cost is. The value of the food is what I would be willing to pay for it. Now if the report fee was high enough, I would probably venture to other places I normally would not go, to try it. That said, high report fees tend to equal small books and I have been retired from my essay career for awhile.

I don't do their stuff anymore, but they always paid. Wow, hope they get it worked out for your (and others) sakes.

Still have one about 3 miles away, have not been there in years (decades).

Re: Gas Station Inspection Pushback - 5 weeks ago

Other than the 3 picture jobs and ones I know are permanently closed (until they eventually open again), I only do them with an LOA. All the ones I did, you got paid if they refused so it didn't matter to me.

A 3 picture job that can be 100% complete in under 10 minutes. A profitable drive by or a 7 jobs in 2 hours door to door in my area. I did over 50 in April. None left now, but easy money while it was there.

BWW does make a very good burger. I get that when I do the 'see if it looks like they are stealing' shop.

I don't do many food jobs. I like 5G, but don't think they are a good value for the price. The only place I know that has those won't let you view the guidelines prior to assigning. How is the report?

I tried a few of those counter picture jobs and decided I just don't like it. I quit doing them.

Re: what do you do when the mystery shop goes in the wrong direction? - 5 weeks ago

I just had one with a gas station debrand, where the new owner did not care about the old owner listed on the LOA. Now the directions say to only use the LOA if someone complains and that is what I did. They should try to source the LOA from the new owner giving permission, as I think the new owner would understand the reasoning for the old owner wanting to confirm the debrand. The gas station em

Re: Bad Reputation (restoring a good reputation) - 5 weeks ago

If I have to explain why I missed something without prior notice, I tend to give as much evidence as possible to document my reasoning. IF, I wanted to keep working for them. We all know stuff happens and so do they. I am sure they have heard every possible reason in the book and then some. Share whatever you are comfortable with sharing, as with shopping, pictures can help.
