Uh no, there is way more to being a "Karen" than that. Think Mrs Olson + Mrs Kravitz + Kystal Carrington (without the money and entitlement). I am old so my references might be beyond you if you are significantly younger than i am. An employee may be miffed about a complaint, yes, but that same employee may not self-reflect so well either and that does NOT equal a "Karen" attack nor warrant being
I get so angry at this job! Between the schedulers and editors, not getting the jobs I want, having my correspondence ignored etc etc ~ there are many things that just piss me off royally. As a result, I take a full 30 to 60 days off when I just cannot take it anymore. Anyone else?
This is the most informative thread i have ever read. I have been 100% avoiding customer first shops. i assumed the company was NOT going to adjust reimbursement at all. Thanks for the info
WOW! I am in Nevada. There are shops that I ALWAYS try to do specifically because the locations are closed since the pandemic and I get the full fee for going and taking the photo. I am so sorry that happened to you. This must be one of the benefits of shopping in NV. I would never do that shop again!
Of course you should not pay anything out of pocket, I would NOT! Some clients have the philosophy that ‘the experience warrants the shopper to share the cost’ (I actually saw that on guidelines for a steak restaurant). Some shoppers look at it like getting a really good coupon for a new experience / mini vacay. I do NOT! If I get the slightest inclination that the reimbursement will not cover my
I got busted at a C-store. This was before I got that nifty little handheld camera. I totally revealed I was a shopper and showed them my license. The clerk was super upset. Said he could lose his job blah blah blah so I revealed. That was the only time someone called me out but I have said before I am CONFIDENT that employees know shoppers ESPECIALLY if the location is shopped frequently. If MSC

nope, i have never turned a box inside out. i have never covered the logo UNLESS the logo etc. was on the side of the box that i needed to photograph. i do have brown packing tape that i use to cover the box if it is too marked up but i don't even do that 90% of the time. I do as many USPS shops as i can get so in my opinion i do a lot of them. the box used has never been an issue.
Y'all buy boxes? I use my old amazon boxes. i ask friends to save me their small / medium size boxes. i have never ever had an issue with a shop being kicked back because i used a used box.
I agree. Nitpicky editors piss me off royally. Especially if they ask for detail beyond what the report specifies. I have had reports kicked back for non-sense as well. Who hasn't? I did a gas one that was kicked back so many times for a question that I'd already answered I was gonna lose it! I shop for recreation so personally, when I have that issue with an editor on a shop I go on strike and
why is the MSC on MY butt to not get discovered when their rules are likely to get me discovered but they seem to never change their end. 1) only spending $10/$15 in stores where VERY little is priced at that amount. 2) ordering specific items 3) asking too many questions 4) getting the sales person to recommend, help you try on etc then walking out with SOCKS!! 5) making you me call when they
one company was clear evals. i don't have elaborate recording keeping so there is another company but i cannot recall the name.
i have reading glasses and a bluetooth sold spycentre.com. both required minor tweeks. i put one of those adhesive felt pads for chair legs on the bluetooth because my chipmunk cheek was in frame. the reading glasses just required me to learn to move my head less (s
i used other, cheaper devices with no issues (blue booth camera, the key fob, the reading glasses) for multiple apt shops. i have had one shop declined for equipment failure. i see no reason why the pen should be declined. the picture is clear, the sound is perfect, properly synched up. Now if i can just consistently get a whole face not just the foreheads.
yes, that is correct. i used a button down with a pocket. the pocket doesn't sit as it would if i had a smaller cup.
i tried to make the pen stand upright independently of the pen clip that sits on the pocket rim. to me it was obvious but maybe i am overthinking. to me it sticks out like a sore thumb but i will have to field test i guess to see if anyone else notices. velcro. i got some of t
before you say it i am NOT getting the PV500. i am simply not spending that amount. i have successfully done maybe 15 video shops with cheaper alternatives but i want to get comfortable with a different style device.
i am short 4' 8" with D cup boobs - pen devices have a weird angle and/or jiggle considerably. i am actively trying to build my arsenal of tricks to camouflage etc. Does anyone hav
i did one where the staff did not make the objective and they were PISSED at the young man at the counter. PISSED!!! i thought i was gonna have to save the lad. the kid appeared to be the youngest of the staff and the only male. the rest of the shift could not have been fun for him. i never even knew what the incentive was.
i sell online. definitely get a scale so you know the weight range. the USPS website has a shipping calculator now. i use my zip and a zip in the furthest zone from me to get a high estimate to avoid surprises. The shipping calculator on USPS.com does not provide as many options as the ebay calculator. To see everything, i keep an old sale visible then pretend as if i am going to print another l
I am fairly new (less than 100 shops under my belt). is that true that using a scheduler means that I get paid less? For example, is my shopper pay more if i schedule directly with Kinesis vs getting the same shop through a scheduler?
My frustration comes because after now working with maybe 5 different schedulers ONE chick in particular I cannot stand. After months of communications with her
