I was so surprised to see them posted I started scheduling them and didn't realize there were additional requirements until I had a few schedules. GRRRR. lesson learned.
The instore grocery shops have more requirements, but the pay stayed the same. I wonder if they will increase the pay or reimbursement soon. The fuel shops seem ok for the $; I'm looking forward to getting my first fuel and new grocery shops done.
Has anyone done the Totes/Isotoner display update at the blue grocery store? The fees are going up around me and I’ve seen the displays, they are small… wondering if the task is work it… thanks!
I was at one of the stores anyway, so I took a treasure hunt. I found the first item but it was in a bakery case and no upc code. I reported it found in bakery case, noted no upc. I could not find the next item. I got paid $1! Lol.
I’ve done a few of these, I was at the stores for other shops. None of the locations had the display. I like Gigwalk so far. Another similar app is Observa- they have some easy tasks and some that are too involved for low pay.
I went to one of the stores that had an open shop to see if the winter display was out yet too. It wasn’t so I did not sign up for the shop. Seems like too much work for $15.
Has anyone done the Observa inventory audits at the grocery stores that require talking with the manager, restocking, answering questions about multiple Products? Pay is $25, wondering if it’s worth it. Thanks!
I’ve done a couple shops for the new msc. I need to get comfortable with the app if they don’t update it. The app doesn't allow skipping around sections. I fill most of it out during the shop so if there is not an employee in the produce section at first, I have to save placeholders for that and click through to complete the other sections then click back through to produce associate.

Yes, it is time consuming opening the packets- and peeling off the old Long sticker and peeling the back off of the new one. My first couple rooms at my first assignment took a while but I just complete 11 rooms in just over an hour at my second assignment, now I have a system! Lol.
I’ve made two appointments. My first location had 11 racks. The office had me come right when they closed thinking I would be there for about 20 minutes addding brochures. The paperwork says 2-5 minutes per room. I had to remove all the old materials, unpack and add the new materials, manage the trash. How long has it taken some of you to complete a rack? Thanks!
I have only used the app to fill out the reports for at least a year, I haven’t had any issues. For the receipt, you just take a photo with your phone.
I did 5 shops today and not one of the bartenders asked abut it!!! I just asked if they could try both cards, I wasn’t sure if there was any funds left on either of them, they were all nice and didn’t mind at all. It was a little akward but quick and easy after I got through the first one. I’d do more of these for sure.
I am doing a few of these shops this week. Any suggestions for what to say when I use the “Test” Card since it has the words a ”Test Card” printed on it? ....thanks in advance.
There have been several times there was not an associate in one of the departments being shopped. Just make sure you check for an associate more than once but not ‘out of sequence’.
