I have done a few lucrative big box store shops for IPSOS this year (all paid for and scored highly with no editing issues). Since then I keep applying and applying as they do have airport shops and I do work at the airport. They have not deactivated me but it seems that I can not be scheduled by them. Is this their way of saying "get lost" or has the market truly become that competitive, mayb
It is definitely slower for me, too. The other forum member here who lives in Phoenix and felt I was taking their shops - it's been a few months since I have run across a shop that meets my standards - I love that line, too, as I know what I believe is my worth now and I won't do this for a pittance. I have not done a shop since the last one I posted with a dental cleaning reimbursement and $40
This is the MSC that I scored my $189 reimbursed dental cleaning from, with an additional $40 for the report. They paid (fairly) quickly and I had no editing issues nor snags with this shop. Color me happy to take another shop for this MSC!
The report honestly was quick and easy - I did it on my phone in a parking lot near the shop. The report took less than 10 minutes, had minimal narrative, and only one picture required. It's a great shop!
Hi BFB! I've been to Algodones in the past but the last couple of years I've been going to Nogales, MX, partly because I like the town of Nogales, Arizona so much. I pay $50 for a cleaning in Nogales which seems to be the standard price. Your $65 comes with beaches and ocean, though and not the worst of both Mexico and the US that Nogales, Mexico is.
I just completed my most lucrative shop ever - a dental cleaning mystery shop for $40 with full reimbursement of the $189 fee. This shop is a gem as since I live in Arizona, I'm used to going to Mexico to see the dentist. But right now I don't know what to believe regarding hassles of US citizens reentering the country - and I don't mean to get political here, either - my point is right now I'm
I have had some good luck here in Phoenix with a string of lucrative IPSOS shops at an electronic retailer. These trio of simple shops were $30, $50 and $60 and to this day I don't know why they payed so well but I'm not complaining. Fast Forward to June and I am not finding many shops available and those that are are not paying the juicy fees I made just a month ago. Not only that, but I feel
I have done a few credit union shops for Bare recently and the base pay was $25 and I did get one that was bonused for $35 total. I am giving Kudos to Bare as I remember doing similar shops for another MSC ten years ago for $15. So someone somewhere is paying better that I can see. Kudos!
Bummer deal. Since I have found a close to FT job I am doing fewer shops but this is one that I have enjoyed and from what you have posted, I gather it's no longer on the platform I have known them to be one. Well hopefully something else comes to replace it for a nice, calm, reimbursed bar shop and small fee.
Something I have noticed on customer service type phone calls - I am asked to complete a quick survey after my call for no renumeration. Some of our mystery shops are gone right there - just from this one development. I'm glad for what shops I can get but I can't see it - for myself - as more than a side hustle.
Last week I did a shop for Stanton Optical. A few here posted urging caution but I went ahead and did the shop anyway and was able to get a pair of progressives with a decent frame for $170 - the $80 shop fee brings this down to $90!!! This is less than my friends who go to Mexico pay!
This one particular shop for me was gold. I wish you all a gold shop or two as the year ends, too.

Is this thread discussing the same company that requires the shopper to mail their package to one of two designated food banks during the November food drive? I was bummed because I want to send something to family. Locations are $13 now with $15 reimbursement, but I applied for one $25 location that few people want to visit.I was called and offered $13 but I noped out of that.

Has anyone done this shop? I understand it's an $80 payment with an eye exam being $69 but the exam magically becomes gratis if you go ahead and get glasses. They have a 2 progressives for $135 deal going on - but of course with limited frames. I think if I can keep it under $250 (factoring in the $80 reimbursement, so total price for two glasses $320 or less) I will go ahead and have glasses
Interestingly enough, now that i work at an airport I am less interested in airport shops. Today I was off and I did a shop at a cabinet store and I found myself very much interested and engaged just as I was with airport shops before. So I'm wondering - have some of you found your favorite genre of shops changing? Just curious.
This MSC keeps calling me to do these shops for $5 and I'm just not doing these shops for $5. I've done a few for $15 and I just tell the Phillipine callers - though politely - that my price tag for these shops is $15.

I received a call from.a new MSC (new to me) the other day asking me to do a purchase/return shop on.the other side of this seemingly unending urban sprawl I live in for $18 - and I'd have to do return on another day.....No Thank You. No wonder they are having a hard time filling this shop!
Anyone else getting similar you must be joking calls?
I did two of these shops for $15 each this past week. How I managed this is that I texted the "Virginia" number back and asked them to keep.me in mind when these shops pay $15. Amazingly enough, this worked.

Good luck on your new job at the airport. I have a friend who works at an airport and there is much drama in that job too. But you will probably not run into these sorts of issues as they are heavily regulated on pay issues, unlike mystery shopping. I wish you much satisfaction in that job.Thank You, Sandy F. So far so good at the airport. It can get a little stressful at times
Greets to one and all! I'm noticing that since I am working almost FT now on a "regular" job, the type of shops that interest me have changed. I am now more amenable to doing food/restaurant shops IF there is a reasonable fee besides reimbursement. I ran across the MSC that does Five Guys shops and I've read here that the reimbursement does not cover all that is required to purchase to complet
I remember once some time ago when I was in college I waited tables and when some of the other servers would get mad at our (expletive) boss, they would accept a boatload of shifts in advance during a busy period and then quit before it got busy in person with much drama or others would simply ghost. Though I was tempted towards the latter myself I never did such and put in a two weeks notice an
Just an update and some good news! I've heard it said that when a door closes a window opens. Right after this issue I posted of above I accepted a 30 hour a week job at the airport. I am not done with mystery shopping but will be cutting back. This last round of mystery shops this past few months have all gone towards the stock market - wish me luck lol lol lol.
Happy shopping to one an

For anyone4 reading of my payment issues with the airport shop msc, I guess I'll be looking for a new niche now LOL. At least i live in a large city and there are many mscs and other niches to be found. And there are also other MSC's with airport shops, too.
You have a good attitude. You're one step closer to finding a better MSC to work with.Thank You!

Realistically, were I to pursue, especially since I have waived paymemt - what good would come of it?
Well, you left me curious. Personally, I would like to know the MSC name. At this point, it sounds like you burned the bridge and fired the MSC. Why not disclose the MSC name at this point?I don't trust the owner. Realistically I don't know how far this (can't come
