I am seeing some jobs for apartment shops in my area that pay well and require video recording. I am a male so things like buttons on purses and so forth not a viable option. I see some video recording "pens" on Amazon for around $40. I've seen video cam buttons you use to replace an actual shirt button. But, curious if anyone has any better suggestions or options for this equipment? I under
Yeah I have same questions. Why involve an independent contractor for something an employee should do? Also...the job may be significantly more involved which is difficulting holding a regular job. I am curious about these type of jobs but also concerned on time requirement.
I am seeing some downstocking jobs posted that do indeed pay more than a standard mystery shop. However, I am not quite sure what this involves. I am interested in trying one to understand. But, I have the feeling this may involve significantly more time and energy than most jobs. My thought is this may involve scanning customer returns and/or re-inventory of product. So, in a way a temporar
How do those ivueit jobs work? Seems odd to me to enter a house or establishment alone. Not sure how they establish credibility with just being an ivueit jobber. Its not oike a licensed realtor.
I was just looking at ivueit also. Im ok with pictures. The question I had is what liability is there if and when you enter a store or house? I saw some posts where they gave you code to lock box like a realtor. My concern is the property owner can blame or accuse ivueit jobber if something goes wrong or missing. Does one need insurance to protect when doing that? Not sure.
Thanks for comments. Yeah it.makes sense Ipsos is both Sassi and Shopmetric. I check those sites independently. It does seem some to me there is a drop in quality jobs offered since I started in 2023. However, the use of smart phones to provide incremental work to check things seems as lean as any option out there. I would think the barrier to start mystery shopping will be lower allowing mo
Well, ok I understand. So point is don't link MSC and client together. I understand. I do believe though that a certain MSC did promote they had a certain client on their website including their logo. So, it would seem the proprietary aspect is also something they were willing to promote as well. My original post I was asking if said client has moved to another aggregate site or MSC? Not su
Regarding ettiquette, someone me tioned that I referenced the client name...which is MSC. I dont believe I did that...only me tiined the app company iSS. Just curious if someone can let me know what, if anything, I referenced in my original post that I should have revealed? I understand there is a learning curve in these forums. Thanks.
Sorry I must not know the rules on etiquette out here. My thinking is this is an open internet forum. Are we not supposed to list out the platform by name?
Thanks that makes sense. I believe those jobs just disappeared by design. That makes sense on your explanation. Btw....is MSC mystery shopping company? I would interpret that as the ultimate customer for our reports and sonforth.
I observed on Presto on Saturday there were "dozens" of $5 gas station shops...tons of locations in every town. I waited thinking they would be there until afternoon (maybe 3 hours later). When I went back to app, they were 100% gone. I thought there were too many for people to claim. But, after reading these posts, is it possible that someone claimed them all??? Or, did the app possibly pul
Hello everyone! Just wanted to say hello. I'm in Indianapolis area and have been working with several of these mystery shopping apps since 2023. I did quite a number of jobs throughout 2023 and 2024 and really learned about what this industry is about. I enjoy learning about new products and/or store locations and paying attention to details related to marketing and customer service. I like
Hello all, I'm new to this forum and excited to be here. I've been mystery shopping since 2023 and really enjoy it. It seems to me the various mystery shopping apps change over time to what is "hot" and "cold" regarding availability of jobs. I'm in Indianapolis area and have signed up for many of the most popular apps. Back in 2023 and 2024, it seemed to me the iSecretShop app was "hottest" a
hello everyone. I was doing many Planet Fitness jobs back in 2023 and 2024. However, sometime in 2024 they disappeared off of app. I really enjoyed doing them and probably completed 45 of them for $30 each. Easy to do and I thought the pay was good. Can someone tell me where those jobs are posted at now? I would appreciate any info so I can start doing them again. thanks!
