I keep seeing references to this, like “find us on Shopmetrics”. So is this now a platform? Does it aggregate shops? How do I find it? Any info appreciated.
I’m so out of date! I can’t find companies I used to work for, can’t find the shops I’m used to doing, etc.

Ugh, I just got a 1099-NEC from Presto and based on the fact that it ends in 51 cents (not to mention that there's no way I did $600 in shops for them), they're reporting our reimbursement as income.
Yep. Keeping records so vital!
Update: paid in full
I never emailed Mr. Price.
I was hoping for the equivalent to a “closed location” fee (I.e., partial pay). I feel grossly overpaid (highly bonused). Guess I’ll be taking a couple at base pay to balance the scales a little.
I did receive a 10/10 on my report (I also over-document everything, lol), but that doesn’t mean I will be paid; the client can still refuse to accept it.
Truly, this is the very first time I’ve had a problem with CI. They have always communicated well and have been more than fair to me.
I ended up not completing the second assignment.
I did check for the “generic” loa and did not find it in guidelines or email.
The visit I wrote above was my very first Ty assignment; I, too, have been doing this for years; I consider myself professional. I had the digital ID and the provided LOA. I printed the guidelines and studied them, and had them with me.
I always over prepare o
I accepted a nicely bonused plush toy restocking.
However, when I got to the store (“M”), they refused because my LOA was from a different chain (store “C”). While I don’t much mind not getting paid (they would not allow me to count), I had a 2nd assignment to do. This one is 40 miles away, a couple towns up the highway. I’m not willing to drive 40 miles each way to be refused again. I was o
I’m pretty fed up with IPSOS. Quit the stupid useless newsletter full of self promotion and put those employees on something useful, like actually responding to shoppers already!!!
I, too, have received materials after the reporting deadline. Didn’t receive them til Saturday, project due Friday. Ran out and completed the assignment on Saturday, sent email explaining. I knew they wouldn’t respond til Monday. It took awhile, but I did eventually get paid in full. I love CI. I find pay is fair and communication is A+++.

Sorry to get off-topic, but where is @johnb974 ?! I miss his posts. This sounds like his cup of tea. Maybe he's caught up with iPhone release tomorrow...
IRS Audit?
Oh my, yes I did stumble upon some of his posts about taxes. I found it entertaining though. i love his conviction.
Actually, I was pleasantly surprised that I received a reply. He said they strive for clarity and, of course, I was the ONLY shopper who was confused. And could I suggest how they could improve clarity? So I responded title the email urgent $100 shop. Or, go ahead and pay $200 for the shop: both solutions work for me!
I haven’t heard further.
Yeah, bogus. The email title says $200 shop, and the email says it pays a shop fee of $100 plus an opportunity to “win” a $100 gift card. That’s NOT a $200 shop! That’s a $100 shop.
Really? Why? Just curious.

sorry cease, I don't actually read Bare emails, they get swiped into the trash almost immediately more often than not.
For the one where you fail a test. Email titled “$200 shop!”
I’ve done these before, and the shop is 100 miles away from home, so I read the rest of the email.
It seems $100 of the $200 is an “opportunity to win a $100 gift card”.
Did anyone here get that email? I hastily sent a note to the sender that I didn’t consider an opportunity to win $100 as being remuneration.

Found it, guys, and got the shop.
But it sounds pretty disgusting. Must order something called lemon-Oreo. Pancakes and milkshake.
Well, I have to order it. Doesn’t say I have to eat it!!!

Cease, I am aware I have not directly responded to your query.
IF you ever have the opportunity to select Cricket compliance audits, do not hesitate. I have been paid from $20 to $55 and with but two exceptions, the prep, travel, visit and report have totaled less than an hour. The exceptions were MY choice to remain in the store.

We can’t name the client AND the MSC in ANY forum. So stating the client’s name means no one can then answer the question.
Guess I could still ask if it’s on the SASSIE platform…but if it were, I would have found it.
I’m thinking about tackling some of these, but I’m wary because of past experiences being so negative, like being required to wait up to 35 minutes to be helped and then not being paid even though I waited the entire 35 minutes.
Have you done them? Difficulty on a scale of 1-5? Time consuming? Questionnaire difficulty; again on a scale of 1-5? Time in store? Any helpful hints?
