You mean all I have to do is make a U-turn, snap a photo, and answer about five or six yes or no answers, for $5? Sure, I'm in.
For the latter scenario, if the shop is bonused and isn't out of the way, I'll give it a try. What's the worst that can happen? I can take being yelled at And it's entirely possible that person is no longer at the store, or has had a change of heart.
Last week I took my first assignment with a company, CHEP, which does pallet counts at stores and distribution centers. They pay $25 / hr. We worked for about an hour, but were paid for four hours of work. It's sporadic work, possibly only once a quarter, but it was definitely worth the time.
It really comes down to what you value.
I don't place much value on the goods, services, or entertainment offered as compensation for work in compensation only, or mostly compensation, work. Especially when it comes to food. I shop at local farms as much as possible, and don't value eating out as much as I used to.
I recently did a Vans shop for a pair of shoes, $80 retail value. Shop w
Also, Alexandra, the scheduler in my area, has been great to work with. I've emailed her while on site with questions, and she promptly replies with the info I need.
To be accurate, it's only three or four who piss outside of the boxes. But yeah, it's bad. I'm on a long-term house and cat sitting gig. The owner knows about the issue, and short of sending the troublemakers to live elsewhere (two of them do this as they're being bullied by the biggest cat), it's going to keep happening. Six of the eight cats are the remaining cats from a rescue in St. Petersb
I've done three different Kohl's locations. Yesterday was my first time doing the Jensen Beach location. It wasn't as unorganized as the Kohl's I most frequently do, but it had a lot more dress pants (one long double-rack display and two regular displays), casual pants, and suit separates (six displays) than Hollywood. They did not have a Hall of Fame line or any backstock. Both JB and Hollywo
Totally forgot about that. Was going to go out and do some gas station audits early this AM, but realized I had a lot of cleaning and trash throwing out to do (taking care of eight cats who piss wherever they feel like it) before heading out.
I've never done any of these shops, at least partly 'cause it seemed the fee was not in line with the amount of work involved.
The moment we achieve a level of solidarity to force fair / reasonable fees is the moment most MSCs close shop, imo.
Also, Sundays may require a lot of patience. The B or C team is likely working Sunday, and many of them have no clue about the inspection and are reluctant to give permission to do anything outside of the limited scope they were prepared for. Many times they'll call the station owner or GM, and even put you on the phone with them. Good to have a printed LOA so that the employee can read stuff o
Most associates / managers are okay with my brief explanation of what I'm doing. Many know what I'm doing from experience. Some ask for an LOA or authorization of some sort, and I provide a printed LOA. Arriving with only a digital LOA assumes someone will be able to read it on my phone or scan the QR code, and they may not be able to do that, or at least do it quickly. I'm not there to f@&!
Earlier today I received the most severe pushback I've ever received, and it really wasn't that bad. I go back inside for the reveal, and the woman, whom I think is a manager, refuses to make eye contact with me as I'm going through my spiel. When I'm done, she asks me why I came in as a regular customer at first, then came back in as inspector. She said it made me look very suspicious, and no
I was going to reschedule a World Orb audit in a cell phone store for today, but I called yesterday and found out they would be closed today. I wanted to avoid traffic tomorrow, but oh well.
I might do some gas station audits on Easter.. I really don't think the holiday will have any meaningful bearing on what I encounter and observe at the stations.
Not sure that I've ever done it, but I have no qualms with doing it. Fwiw, I don't celebrate Easter. It's just another Sunday to me. Wait, I take that back. Lots of snowbirds leave right after Easter. Yay, Easter!

Same. I emailed last night and again at 11am today!
Tech support for GoSpotCheck can be reached at 720.644.4273 until 6 PM Eastern. If you received email from Alexandra, her phone # should be included in the email. She's the one who schedules for my area.
Make sure you're in the right spot to see your assignment. If you did a previous assignment you might be defaulted to tha
Thanks to everyone for their replies. All of you mentioned something that is very helpful.
I didn't get to the bonuses shops at the end of the month as I had other things going on. Will try to make time for them at the end of this month.
Yesterday CI sent me a list of prestaffed rebate visits to accept or decline. At the end of the subject line read, 'LOCK IN NOW!", which I found amusing. Three shops in my area, one of which I've done twice. The offer was $10 per shop. Had previously done them at $20 each. Declined it.

Reads like they're not giving everyone the same directive.
They advised you to toss, so toss.

If you mention mystery shopping, all the info is available to her if she wants to search.
Noone I've mentioned it to has ever tried it. So the risk seems minimal.
I don't see any way to comfortably tell her you're doing it for pay, then refuse to share. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
^^^ This.
Interested in doing some of these shops. I don't know squat about luxury watches. The shop overview mentions that the shopper needs to take the pre-shop research aspect seriously. I'll get as much info as I can about the specific model I'm inquiring about. For those of you that have done these shops, what tips can you give me to appear to be a savvy luxury watch shopper?
Thanks in advance
