Clothing size audits... (Newby Question)

I have the opportunity to conduct some size audits, and I'm just curious as to how involved these are for the pay. In this case, the directions tell me I'll need to audit 5 categories of clothing, 125 items each cat., for total of 625 items...
Normal fee is around $10 I think, but one that they need done within the next few days is offered at $15 or $16 at this point.

I haven't done anything like this in YEARS, so I need a refresher... advice??
How long "should" this take, especially for someone so out of practice??
Any tips from those of you who do these often, as far as a more efficient/faster way to get this done?

Thx Much!!

Hello Laura - I've done these and they pay $16 in my area (DFW). The categories to be counted vary from job to job, and the length of time required to count can depend on which categories you get. Shoes can be a killer if the display is disorganized.

I count all items exactly as directed in the guidelines. I check the size tag on each item. I do not use the size ring on the hanger. I do not count a few items and multiply out. The job takes me from one hour to an hour and a half to complete. The report is less than five minutes.
