First assignment : Price Audit

Hi everyone! So I'll have my first ever assignment next week. Its going to be price audit for electronics, about 80 items. Any tips on how I'll go about this job. Its unrevealed price audit by the way. And I'll be bringing my 1yo daughter along. That alone makes me feel nervous but also excited at the same time for my first assignment as mystery shopper. Also, im having problem editing the spreadsheet on my phone using the Office mobile app. It says "Cant edit protected workbook." How can i edit such file? It would be easier for me if i can directly input/type the prices on the spreadsheet rather than bringing a printed copy (and my daughter likes grabbing and tearing papers :/) And it is more discreet also. Thanks in advance!

I have never done the audit, but this sounds like a nightmare in the making. I would guess that it will require extreme concentration, which is not exactly suited for having a one-year-old-who-likes-grabbing-and-tearing-paper as your partner.

Perhaps you can reschedule for a time when you can do it alone?

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
I definitely would not be taking a small child along with me to do a price audit. Have you checked this is okay with the MSC?
I agree with stilllearning and jpgilham about not bringing a small child. Eighty-item unrevealed price audits are stressful enough without having a child with you. Be sure to check the guidelines before going. If this is the unrevealed electronics audit I've seen posted, the guidelines specify that children are not allowed.
